Reportedly “agreed to” deals so far:
    Kyrie to Brooklyn 4yrs/$141M
    Kemba to Boston 4yrs/$141M
Klay stays in GS 5yrs/$190 M
    Vucevic stays in Orlando 4yrs/$100M
    Jonas stays in Memphis 3yrs/$45M
    Lillard supermax extension 4yrs/$196M
    D. Rose to Detroit 2yrs/terms unknown
    Rubio to Indiana 3yrs/terms unknown

S&T need to be worked out:
    Butler wants Miami
    Russell wants Minnesota

    Any others I missed?

Everyone waiting on Kahwi and KD….

Also, I’m interested in where the role players goes and these teams build out their rosters.

Is the Klay deal ‚official‘ yet? Aside from rumors that the Warriors are gonna offer that deal I didn’t read any news on this.

The Dame deal is insane if you ask me. Yes this dude is clutch, he is committed to his team and one could argue he has surpassed Westbrook last year in the pg ranking but nobody should earn that much money playing basketball. The extension will kick in 2021 when he is already 31 and will earn him a STARTING salary of 43 mil. Then 47, 50 and 54 million making him the first 50 million athlete and that’s way to much. This is almost half the cap space and aside from the fact he will be in his mid 30s and should have already peaked it‘s not so easy for me to wrap my head around this numbers let alone that a franchise can build a contender around individual salaries like this.

The Porzingis extensions seems almost like a bargain if he can stay healthy.

I agree $50million is too much for Dame. He hasn’t won shit. But Portland almost have to offer him that much money. Dame wants to be there. Portland isn’t a destination for top tier players.

$54M to a 34 year old Dame is going to be awful. I love him, and I get Portland had to do it, but that’s just not something I could stomach.

seems like a reasonable contract for both sides.

Any news on Middleton? Was the most quiet story so far from the top tier FAs and in my book he is not far behind the Kembas or D-LOa if at all. I hope they bring him back but a costly summer for the bucks who also paid Bledsoe and now Lopez. They still need to pay Brogdon of they want to keep him and they already lost Mirotic and also Hill as it seems.

Hope they manage to keep Middleton and Brogdon and nice to see Lopez back even if he is old now but he really changed his game and should age well if his feet hold up.

Wow about the Middleton deal! I like this guy but this is crazy money for someone who is barely an all star.

Word is that KD, Kyrie and DeAndre are all going to sign with the Nets – what a bummer if you‘re a Knicks fan after the lottery first and now being denied by the top tier FAs. On a sidenote if KD and Kyrie both sign for the max this could end in a disaster if KD is not the same player again once he is back and Kyrie is continuing his trend of being not exactly durable.

Kevin Durant announced he will join the Brooklyn Nets next season.

The announcement comes on his Boardroom IG page, and it comes with Notorious BIG’s music in the background. Achilles tears are one of the toughest to rehab, but KD still has plenty in the tank and his style of play may not require as much burst because he’s so long. The Nets locking up KD while the Knicks missed out on both KD and Kyrie Irving suggests a changing of the guard

If you worked at a McDonalds with the nicest staff, managemet, ownership in an amazing location with great customers and were paid $10 an hour and you got offered a position at Taco Bell for $15 an hour would you say no?

I respect Jimmy. Mans about his money. He was never denying it EVER. He went right to social media and straight up said it. He’s not playing both sides, hes not ring chasing, he still competes, The guy just got a supermax contract in a no tax state.

      Well done sir.

Hes also a baller and top 15 player in the NBA.

report supporting Jimmy Butler wanting to be the star on his own team and take all the attention —–

Though reports have started to trickle out that the 76ers did ultimately offer Butler the full five-year, $190 million max; it’s clear Butler had virtually no interest in being anything but the top option on a team, even if it ultimately compromises his long-term potential to win a championship.

he was expected to meet with the Rockets today, but they may not be interested in McGee now that Clint Capela is expected to stay on board. McGee showed he can handle a larger role last year, but most teams after him will likely want him to play in the second unit.

Moe Harkless has been traded to the Clippers as part of the Jimmy Butler sign-and-trade deal.

The Heat acquired him from the Trail Blazers earlier today, but they needed to let him go in order to make room for Jimmy Butler’s contract. Miami will also be sending a future first-round pick to Los Angeles as part of this deal. We’re still awaiting Kawhi Leonard’s decision, but if he doesn’t wind up with the Clippers, Harkless could see quality minutes in L.A. next season.

Unfortunately for Boogie, the teams out there that still have cap space don’t have a need at center, and the teams that would like him can’t really offer much more than the mid-level exception of $5.3 million. Cousins probably won’t receive a significant offer until Kawhi Leonard comes off the market, which is true for most of the free agents still floating around.

Tim MacMahon of ESPN is reporting that the Grizzlies would match a "reasonable offer" for the restricted free agent, so it will be interesting to see just how serious the Mavs are about adding Wright. I really like this signing for the Mavs! Delon is already 27 and coming from his first contract but he had a really strong finish to last season and is a very well rounded player. Can score a bit, pass it, rebound and defend. A very low risk signing and I‘m totally sure he will outplay his contract. Will be interesting to see if there are any team/player options to this deal since I couldn’t find anything regarding this as of right now and if not, he could really be a steal if he enters the final year of his contract.

The Mavs had an underrated offseason so far I think. No big signings (aside from Boban lol) but they really seem to like their core and even the 2nd tier guys like Powell or Finney-Smith who were kept and extended.

If KP stays healthy this team is going to be a problem and they still managed to keep their financial flexibility going forward.

        Rose

2 x $7.5 mill per season is definitely worth the risk.  I had him on a couple of fantasy teams last season and he put up good numbers with good %.  In fact i watched a few games and he did take them over and perform well.

Even if we wrapped him in cotton wool for most of the season and play him limited mins and 40-50 games, we will might end up going to 6 or 7 games in the first round of playoffs instead of being swept.

I just hope they don’t play blake and rose big minutes.  Reggie jackson last season with us, next season will be good, can look for a young PG to take over.  So many good PG in the league, heaps of options.

Would of liked to have seen marcus morris or Ilysaova back with us

The Grizzlies like the fact that Jones is considerably younger than Wright, as well as the two second-round picks they got from Dallas in the Wright deal. According to Chris Hayes of Yahoo, Kosta Koufos has reached an agreement with CSKA Moscow.

After 10 years in the NBA, Kosta is headed overseas. Per Hayes, the pact will make Koufos the highest-paid American in Europe next season. It’s a two-year, $6 million deal that will include an NBA option should he decide to return to the league.

Wes Johnson has signed a contract with Panathinaikos of Greece.

Johnson’s numbers have been on a steady downward trajectory since 2014, and the 31-year-old only managed to produce averages of 3.4 points, 1.9 boards and not much else on 35.2% shooting this past season. He’ll now take his talents overseas, but his NBA career could be over.
