In the second Half  Flip just went off. Hewas hitting jumpers going down the lane dunking on people, cross overs, and 1’s. I was checking Kearse (wouldnt have made much of a difference if i was checking Flip, he was that good) We ended up switching to a zone later in the second half because of there size

When i was just a young McDunkin…about ye high…My dad came running into the living room with a VHS tape in his hand. As he turned off the Batman cartoon i was trying to watch he yelled "I have a real hero to show you!" Now at first ..being the foolish child that i was..i was about to get angry..but then i saw…my friends i saw the most  beautiful example of the game called basketball i have …even to this day… ever laid my eyes on.

Needless to say i soon forgot about Batman and i soon started to study this tape on a daily basis. On my tenth birthday…before my dad left for the war…he said the one thing i would never ever forget and would live my life by

"Son i want you to do these three things and i will always be proud of you"

1. Graduate high school
2. Graduate college
3. Be like him

Its sad that You cant accomplish anything on here. you can talk about other people accomplishing things but the minute you say anything about you accomplishing things or a family member then its

"whats the point of this"

But as soon as you put something up about some high school kid you never met or talked to its

or jennings vs wall

If they dont thats cool i dont mind debating basketball stuff on here but when it becomes personal attacks then its only right that they personally attack me man to man real to real

And the wild thing about it is i never put down any one’s accomplishments when they post it on here except one guys who’s name i forget. He started out saying how good he was and posted a video and i told him that’s good and work on this and that to get better then he started talking about being able to punish all these guys int he NBA and college because they suck. His name escapes me now

 

I did go but i didn’t last long. Got into a fight with a rich white kid who started it with a racial comment and threw something but the way things are up there i was to blame so i got kicked out of the school

Screw all the haters, like Indiana Baskeball I thought that was a pretty cool post. People on here talk all the time about their best games, the best players they’ve played with, the best players they’ve played against, etc.

While I usually take that approach, your thread title led me on to thinking this thread was unique. When I was reading your first post I was thinking it was just an article that was copy and pasted in, thus the slight confusion as to why the thread was created.

Now that you have changed your forum name to Quincey Hodges, the thread makes more sense and is actually pretty cool. I noticed the Quincey Hodges name in the box score, but I thought it was more coincidental than actually having a purpose. I remember someone on this forum had the name Quincey Hodges, but I had no clue who it was. People change their forum name on here too much. I believe you are in a yahoo fantasy football league that I am in.  

Anyways. Neat story. I didn’t even know you played college basketball. I wish more former college (JUCO, NAIA, D1-D3) basketball players posted on this forum.  Good stuff man.
