Fandango's Mock Draft (with 2 trades)

Because some douche gave me a concussion, I have had time to work on my mock draft. Anyways, don't pay attention to the comments because I haven't updated them, however I do have two trades.

-Trade 1
Minnesota Trades: Derrick Williams and #26 pick
Washington Trades: #3 pick and #38 pick

-Trade 2
Portland Trades: #10 pick
Phoenix Trades: Marcin Gortat and #30 pick

Do you think Wash will really

Do you think Wash will really give up the #3 pick for Williams? I think if they decide to bring in a 4, Zeller or Bennett is a better option. Yes Wall wants a stretch four, but Wall hasn't proven to be a franchise player just yet to make such demands. If Im in charge, I prefer Zeller or Len over trading for Williams if I decided to go big.

You do realize Williams went

You do realize Williams went #2 just 2 years ago, and has actually played in the NBA and proven he can play, he's just not been afford the chance at consistent playing time to really put up bigger numbers. Zeller or Bennett have yet to prove they can even play.

Plumlee, and Adams too high. Muhammad too low

Adams is too high. I figure he will go either 11 or 12th. Both of those teams could use Centers but for different reasons. Philly, because of the oft injured Bynum, but they have a serviceable center that can play if Bynum cannot. (Hawes) I strongly believe that if the Sixers want to get a better Center than Hawes and can't rely on Bynum then they will do so via free agency. (I'm thinking possibly Big Al Jefferson.)
So I believe Adams will go 12th to OKC because they need to find someone who is better than Perkins. Problem is Adams is still very raw, and not ready to start from day 1. If Philly is looking for a big man that is better than Hawes, that can start then Adams is not their guy. Although he could be the guy for OKC as they already have Perkins who can start over Adams while he matures. And also they are a very good team, so its not like they will suffer if they select a very raw center like Adams.

Plumlee is also very high. I believe he will go in the mid-first round. Utah is said to be looking for a bigman with their second first round pick because both Big AL and Millsap will probably leave via free-agency. Therefore they need someone who can backup either Favors or Kanter. Plumlee would be perfect for them. Another option is Olynyk but I don't think he will be available.

Muhammad I believe is a little too low. He has worked out for numerous teams in the lottery and has impressed a few of them as well. I believe he has worked out for Phoenix, Philly, Detroit, and Utah. I believe he has impressed Phoenix, Philly, and Detroit. And all 3 teams are not worried about his supposed selfishness. Personally I think he goes between 5-10. I doubt he'll go 5 because is said to really like Zeller. As you have heard, Portland will pick Zeller if he is available at 10 and trade him to the Suns for Gortat. So if the Suns want Zeller that badly, what if isn't available at 10. Wouldn't the Suns still want him? If he isn't available at 10 and the Suns don't select him at 5 thinking that he will still be available at 10 (but turns out he is not), then Phoenix has missed out on the one guy that they really wanted. To me it would be best, if Phoenix secures themselves of getting Zeller by picking him at 5. If they still want Muhammad then at least they have a shot at landing him at 10. If they want Zeller more so than Muhammad then I would secure him with the earlier pick so you can be sure to land him. (I hope that made sense)

I had to read that last

I had to read that last paragraph a second time to understand, ha, but yea that logic makes sense, but if the Suns really wanted Zeller I don't think you'd hear about the rumors about Phoenix moving Gortat for the #10. I think Phoenix has at least 5 guys ahead of Zeller on the board, ensuring that someone they like over Zeller will be there. Also, Muhammed seems like this year's version of Perry Jones.

And I think OKC is the only lotto team that will take Plumlee mainly because they are in win now mode so they value Plumlee's ability to play right away over Adams who will take time to develop and contribute. I think OKC really wants Zeller and will take him if he lasts, but I don't anticipate Zeller being there at #12. Olynk could be OKC's guy at #12.

Why?

How could you hate the guy who is probably the most down to earth, respectful guy in this draft? I'm sure if he saw this he would just laugh, he will be earning millions and millions of dollars while you live your life! And judging on this comment, it is is probably a horrible life.

I'm from Milwaukee and I can

I'm from Milwaukee and I can tell you the Bucks won't take Schroeder... He really struggled in the workout he had with Larkin and Phil Pressey... From the sounds of it the Bucks Most likely will pick a SG or SF... I've been hearing Shabazz Muhammad or Caldwell-Pope...

I like the idea of using

I like the idea of using DWill to move up to get Mclemore. Minnesota would be a perfect fit for him.
