For real though, you gotta’ think that Wade knew what he was doing. He’s become verrrry good at pretending some of his shenanigans aren’t really shenanigans. I don’t buy it.

TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantIt came after Hansbrough tapped Wade to the ground a quarter earlier and Stephenson elbowed Birdman pretty hard on a lay up also.
It was dirty and should have been a technical. As soon as they showed the replay even Miami fans were shocked and awhed in the crowd.
Plus Stephenson was curtailing every slow motion dribble move Wade was doing all night.
It was a superhero move, a Flash-Punch, oh my bad, I mean a WOW-Punch.

llperezI do think it was an accident, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a foul. You are responsible for your body out there and elbowing someone in the head is a foul. But it was away from the ball in transition, I’m sure the refs didn’t see it. Not everything is a league wide conspiracy. 3 sets of eyes can’t see everything just like west throwing an intentional elbow at chalmers.
