mbramilanParticipantWhat do you think about Miami’s duo?

SpacegrassParticipantShane Larkin will climb up draft boards the closer we get to the draft. He is going to be better than most think of him and don’t be surprised to see him get snatched up by Miami if he falls that far , which I don’t think will happen or at least I hope it doesn’t cause that means they got a “steal”. Larkin has an ability to get into the lane that is superior to nearly every PG in this draft.
Scott is all gonna depend on where he ends up. Needs the right situation to stick and could easily be nothing more than a “cup of coffee” NBA player.

cuseflynn10ParticipantIf Larkin ends up in Miami it will either be because the Heat traded for him or because they signed him as an undrafted free agent because the Suns and Grizzlies have their picks this year if I remember correctly. Plus I don’t know if he’s as big a need in Miami. Chalmers and Cole are good enough fourth options, while they could use more of a presence in the paint. But that’s besides the point because they don’t have a pick.

SpacegrassParticipantI am aware of that. Don’t be surprised if Miami finds a way back to having a first round pick.

Forte IVParticipantI remember when Scott was once a lotto pick on this site. I personally like him, a big combo guard, plus a great defender. Hopefully he sneaks onto a team.

FastAndFuriousParticipantHow much more do you think Larkins will really move up the boards??? I think Larkins is going to go anywhere between 24th-35th no lower no higher.
I agree with you that Larkins is better than advertised, but I think right now scouts aren’t as high on him as they should be.
The only PG I can see moving up the boards and make some noise is Schroeder, if he attends the combine I think his athleticism is going to blow scouts away and he will move into lottery territory, as he is athletic, long and can shoot.

SpacegrassParticipantI can see him jump up as high as late lottery but think he will fall in that 15-25 range. A guy like DJ Augustine went top 10 so why not Larkin?

capecodderParticipantLarkin may sneak up like Mike Conley did….he did the right thing in leaving now as Miami will be decimated next year…..I think Scott could be an effective player….good D and can score

jjbutler73ParticipantMiami doesn’t even have a 1st round pick, so how do you see him falling to them?
