dmo21Participanti got 1 and 9 haha…. who thought they would take two point guards?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 2:31pm #171490
birdman113that messed up my mock if they had taken DeRozan my mock might still be perfect.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 2:41pm #171492
Daprob89ParticipantMy first 5 was right got i 9 and 11 right too

JKHParticipantMark this day….Every team that passed on BJ will live to regret it. Milwaukee by far got the steal of the draft!

I missed 6-8 and the Pacers pick. I knew the Pacers were going to draft someone who has been in college for 3+ years.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:14pm #171499
RickyRubio9ParticipantHorrible for me
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:16pm #171500
birdman113i havent got a pick right since i nailed the top 5.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:20pm #171501
RickyRubio9Participantthe World is Minny drafting three PG’s, well I’ve heard so far they may be moving Flynn to the Suns in a deal or Rubio to the Knicks.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:23pm #171502
dmo21Participanttrading lawson to nuggets
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:24pm #171503
RickyRubio9ParticipantHappened right after I posted my thing.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:26pm #171504
kaceyParticipantIs there a leaderboard available for the people doing mock drafts? Or was the create your own mock draft just for fun??
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:27pm #171505
knicksfreakParticipant1,2,4,11,12,14 all right. 15-20 killed me.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:27pm #171506
dmo21Participantit says you can win stuff and picks are for points… but nothing comes up
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:28pm #171507
kaceyParticipantThanks Jazz, you left no PG for the Mavericks. Mavs better not reach for Mills or Douglas at 24.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:30pm #171508
dmo21Participantya… all the point guards are going quickly… hope this is messing up everyones drafts, cause its making mine look horrible
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:30pm #171509
kaceyParticipantIts not as much the players getting picked that are hurting me, because the ones I’ve been wrong, I have been close enough to get some points.
But the players who haven’t been picked like Mullens and Blair, are my BIG misses. Guess those knees of Blair are scaring teams big time. Wouldn’t mind if he slipped to Dallas.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:30pm #171510
birdman113i hope Portland gets Blair.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:31pm #171511
RickyRubio9ParticipantGuys, I’m embarrassed…I really am. I was way off, I haven’t gotten a pick right since the Suns picked Earl Clark. So far I got 1,2,3, 9, and 14. The rest, have been really close. A pick or two off
0- Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:45pm #171518
ALAjamzParticipantyea i havent gotten a correct pick since the bulls. now we’re on portland and i got it wrong too
0
- Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:36pm #171512
birdman113for Portland im sure its between Blair, and Casspi.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:36pm #171513
dmo21Participant9 of the first 21 picks are point guards…. teams better start pick other positions soon cause if they stick with pg they are gonna run out of talent..
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:38pm #171515
llperezjust goes to show that all those rumors don’t always mean anything. I had the Raptors taking DeRozan and JJohnson going to the Bulls at 16 but changed it when everyone started saying JJohnson was going to the Raps.
Also, what happened to those Mullens going no later then 16 rumors?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:40pm #171514
RickyRubio9ParticipantTrailBlazers have to draft a PG. Budinger, Mullens, Maynor, and Blair are free-falling.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:40pm #171516
birdman113the Trailblazers have good trade bait with the 22nd pick which could be Mullens, or Blair.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:42pm #171517
juves4783Participantmy mock was looking pretty good until those 2.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:46pm #171519
birdman113what the heck i got the first 5 right and i thought i would smoke right through but i havent hit a pick since the 5th pick.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:46pm #171520
kaceyParticipantThere is a pick everyone either got right or was one off. Casspi.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:46pm #171521
dmo21Participantwill patty mills now make the first round with all the point guards taken?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:54pm #171523
dmo21Participanti thought it would be a stretch for the bulls to get blair with their first pick, but they could get him with their next
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:56pm #171524
juves4783Participanti was only off by 20.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:56pm #171525
birdman113Blairs still on the board they could have taken him with the 16th pick now they can take with the 26th.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 3:59pm #171526
dmo21Participantfor some reason i had ellington at 12…. horrible decision
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:03pm #171527
birdman113will the Grizlies take Ellington, Blair, or Budinger?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:04pm #171528
kaceyParticipantOnly pick that has hurt me is the Pacers pick which I had Blair. Of course there could be more, since Young hasn’t been picked yet.
So how does it score if you have someone like Beaubois in the 2nd round at 35 and he goes 1st round 25?
Or lets say you have someone first round and they go second round and you are off by less than 10 picks?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:06pm #171529
dmo21Participantthey took demmare carrol….. the promise was true…. wow… only 22 off
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:08pm #171530
birdman113if the Blazers get Blair at 31 ill be stoked..
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:08pm #171531
kaceyParticipantThanks for that Carrol promise earlier Knicksboy
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:14pm #171533
dmo21Participanti got 3 picks right 1,9,14….. hoping for atleast one more… not likely tho
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:18pm #171534
birdman113Blazers 2 picks away from Blair…………
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:22pm #171536
knicksfreakParticipantWhat the heck are the Knicks going to do at the point? Blair, Budinger, Summers, Young, Brown, Mills, Green, Thorton left.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:24pm #171537
dmo21Participantwho the hell is christian eyanga????? didnt even have him in my second round
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:24pm #171538
knicksfreakParticipantWho the heck is that guy?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:25pm #171539
birdman113yes Blair the biggest steal of the draft if he can stay healthy.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:25pm #171540
R-Dot-13Participantwhat the heck ?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:26pm #171541
dmo21Participantthis was a rough first round…. dont no what else to say
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:28pm #171542
knicksfreakParticipantYeah I dont know if anybody could’ve had a good mock.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:28pm #171545
kaceyParticipantI would have had Eyanga going at 30 if he was in the system.
Not really. Never heard of the guy. Look athletic as hell in those video clips though. Maybe he will replace LeBron when he leaves?? J/k.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:30pm #171546
birdman113i picked the first 5 perfect but if i made a million accounts and made a mock for each one i probably wouldnt even get close, Blair at 31?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:31pm #171547
kaceyParticipantI thought I did pretty well, based on the system scoring players you miss within 3, 5, and 10 picks.
http://draftday.nbadraft.net/nba_mock_drafts/29783/edit
I’ll get lucky to get two 2nd round picks right though. Very tough to predict.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:31pm #171548
dmo21Participanti had 4 first rounders that were not picked in the first round… doesnt sound to bad except one was at 14
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 4:52pm #171552
dmo21Participantfinally someone picks him, atleast he will be a role player on a winning team… spurs looking good
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 5:24pm #171585
dmo21Participantgood job man, if i were you id brag
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 6:05pm #171647
mbunner23ParticipantI can not believe Dionte Christmas is still on the board.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 6:10pm #171581
kaceyParticipantYeah I’m about to brag…
13 1st round picks exact
6 1st round picks within 3
1 1st round picks within 5
7 1st round picks within 10
3 1st round picks greater than 10 (Pacers taking Blair, Jazz taking Young, Cavs taking Derrick Brown)3 2nd round picks exact (Brockman, Elonu, and Dozier; the last two picks, go figure!)
13 2nd round picks within the 3-10 rangehttp://draftday.nbadraft.net/nba_mock_drafts/29783/edit
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 6:19pm #171665
juves4783Participanti might try to brag too.
12 1st round picks right
8 within 3
3 with 5
3 with 10http://draftday.nbadraft.net/nba_mock_drafts/13864/edit
judging from your mock kacey, i’m guessing you read espn insider too.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 6:46pm #171690
kaceyParticipantNo I didn’t, unless something from the insider leaked on to this forum or elsewhere.
Which picks do you think I got via ESPN Insider?
BTW, Great job man!! Based on our 1st round scores alone you did 1 pt better.
Good job on the Daye pick, did you get that pick confirmed somewhere? I saw the Pistons were interested. Had Suton going in the 2nd, mad props. Had Christian Eyegna getting drafted, even madder props. Off by one with Beverly. Solid.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 6:49pm #171691
knicksfan7ParticipantI started the mock draft, but got lazy, and was like screw it.
I got picks 1-3 right, 12, 17, 27, and 29.
I was also wrong by 1 pick on a few occasions. I had Rubio going 4, Evans going 5, Curry going 6, Flynn going 8, Hill going 7, Teague going 20, Maynor going 19. Oh well.0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2009 - 7:01pm #171699
kaceyParticipantUnless I don’t understand the scoring rules completely, I think you and me tied at 111 points.
Good luck. Going through your 2nd round, you seemed to have more the picks closer to where they actually went, but unfortunately the scoring system for the 2nd round is whack. 1 pt for being within 3, within 5 or within 10.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 06/26/2009 - 4:17am #171793
juves4783Participantgood job on your picks then. i put a lot of input from espn insider in my 1st round. i wish i would have listened more. they had the carroll pick, but i couldn’t believe it. obviously, insider was off on blair, budinger and minnesota taking all the pgs. i had the daye pick confirmed on espn. eyenga was reported on insider as getting drafted, but not at 30 and it was reported beverley had a great workout in miami.
2 last picks, mad props. the 2nd round is impossible to predict.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 06/26/2009 - 7:13am #171834
kaceyParticipantI agree it is very tough to predict. I got lucky with those last two picks. I felt the Lakers would draft a big with some upside, so I just threw Elonu there. The Dozier pick was just straight up luck.
