- wiggins is a long and athletic wing that shoots with ease and has long range, without great ballhandling but good enough to score,in the mold of paul george or rudy gay but much closer to george bcause of his defense and unselfishness..in my opinion he’s still the best prospect but probably embiid will be nº1 as centers are prefered over wings: m.thompson over bird,hakeem/bowie over jordan or oden over durant..and that would be great for him as he won’t have that pressure. wiggins is one of those athletic talents who are not great scorers in college but once in the nba they display all their tools, like again, paul george, rudy gay,d.derozan or vince carter..biggest concern: does he have passion and love for the game? comparison: paul george

- embiid will be nº1 if he keeps playing like this. he is growing so fast as a player and seems determined to be the best. biggest concern: will he develope a consistent offensive game?comparison: poor man’s hakeem olajuwon

- parker is the most polished(for the moment) and ready player in the draft. he has slowed a little but that’s part of the learning process and it will only make him a better player. biggest concern: will he be able to defend quicker wings? comparison: carmelo anthony

- julius randle has also slowed a little since the beginning but is still putting up pretty impressive numbers for a freshman. after watching some old tapes i have no doubt about his comparison and about his production at the next level..biggest concern: will he develope a consistent     shot? comparison: terrence jones+zach randolph= derrick coleman 2.0

- marcus smart is a leader, that’s what best defines him. he’s like chauncy billups in baron davis’s body..biggest concern: will he shoot consistently at the next level? comparison: baron davis (with billups killer instinct)

- dante exum has finally declared for this year but we still haven’t seen much from him, except a few videos..still you can see his huge potential..biggest concern: what is his natural position at the next level? comparison: penny hardaway+brandon roy mix

- zach lavine should stay in college, seriously,he has so much talent and potential to throw it away coming out now..in terms of potential he is a top 3. he should stay and improve his shot creation and PG skills..he could become a rare combination of curry+westbrook but right now is far from that..biggest concern: not ready, not defined. comparison: young kevin martin

- rodney hood is another nba ready player. maybe won’t be a star but he’ll be a solid player for many years in the league..biggest concern: is he worth a top10 pick assuming he doesn’t have star potential? comparison: michael beasley+rashard lewis mix

- gary harris keeps playing really good basketball. if brad beal is already producing in the nba, gary harris should too. biggest concern: how will he measure at the combine? comparison: brad beal

- james young,tyler ennis,noah vonleh,nik stauskas,andrew harrison,wayne selden,sam dekker,tarczewski,chris walker,larsen and mario hezonja have all lottery potential but they should all wait 1 more year,at least..although i guess some of them won’t..

- jordan clarkson is playing like lottery. he looks like he could become a really good pro. biggest concern: is he a PG at next level? comparison: o.j mayo

- dario saric keeps improving and playing better each week. he’s putting really good numbers in high level competition. after watching some old videos i’ve found the perfect comparison for him: detlef schrempf. biggest concern: 3 or 4 in the nba? comparison: detlef schrempf

- w.cauley-stein will be lottery pick bcause of the lack of athletic 7 footers in the league with that mobility, but he keeps looking more like birdman than tyson chandler..biggest concern: still not ready. comparison: birdman

- aaron gordon will be a headache in draft day for general managers..he has potential and is playing well but again..he lacks true position..biggest concern: 3 or 4 or none of them..?comparison: derrick william

- doug mcdermott is more than ready to contribute at next level..he’s more than just kyle korver..he has post game and is a good rebounder. biggest concern: will he be able to defend quicker wings? comparison: kyle korver 2.0(that means, with post game)

- kyle anderson is having a monster year..if he keeps like this he’ll end up in the lottery zone. he plays just like hedo turkoglu in orlando..so if hedo could, kyle anderson too..biggest concern: lateral quickness,speed,defense.. comparison: hedo turkoglu

- jerami grant is an athletic freak, the type of player every team wants to have even if he doesn’t develope a consistent offensive game. biggest concern: his offensive game. comparison: al-farouq aminu

- glenn robinson III has potential, but he’s having kind of a disappointing year..not really improving what he neened to. he doesn’t have iguodala’s defense or passing skills and that’s why he’s still a poor version of him..biggest concern: will he ever be more than a rotation player in the league? comparison: poor man’s iguodala

- t.j warren is having a great year. another player that could finally end up in lottery..biggest concern: needs to improve his long range shoot. comparison: poor man’s jamal mashburn

- adreian payne is another senior ready to contribute right away. biggest concern: he needs to add some weight/muscle. comparison: poor man’s kenyon martin

- vasilje micic is having a great year and is drawing a lot of attention from scouts. pure big PG,with great vision, very high iq and long range. biggest concern: his defense against quicker PG. comparison: kendall marshall

- semaj christon is starting to play consistent. could play even better at next level. biggest concern: shot consistency and shot selection. comparison: keyon dooling

- elfrid payton should be picked in 1st round,if not,he will be a steal. he is a junior born in’94 like most freshmen..altough it may sound too much he has some similarities to his namesake gary in his early years..biggest concern: must improve his 3pt shot and take more care of the ball. comparison: poor man’s gary payton

- markel brown is an intriguing prospect. he’s undersized but can offer so many things..biggest concern: size. comparison: avery bradley/john starks

- walter tavares is a 7’4 C with 7’9 wingspan and really good mobility and athleticism for his size. he also has huge hands and great touch and he’s been playing bball for less than 3 years..he’ll stay 1 more year in spain,at least, but he’s worth a 1st round pick for sure. a lot of teams will regret if they pass on him..biggest concern: still raw. comparison: dikembe mutombo

- p.j. hairston looks like he’s finally ready to play in the league. he might be worth a late 1st..biggest concern: consistency. comparison: j.r. smith

- jusuf nurkic is still very young, but at 7tf with already that offensive game,he might be 1st late worth. he’ll probably need a couple of years overseas..biggest concern: still young. comparison: nenad krstic

- deonte burton is another senior playing great. seriously, young players should think about staying longer in college,in the long term it benefits them by far..burton is an example. biggest concern: size and decision making ability. comparison: alphonso ford

- clint capela is another intriguing international prospect that is growing very fast. he’s a long 19year old 6’10 PF very athletic, fast and with great mobility. biggest concern: raw offensive game. comparison: amir johnson

- shabazz napier is another player that has really benefited from staying in college. he’ll be a great back up PG for many years..biggest concern: size and athleticism. comparison: poor man’s trey burke

    * bogdan bogdanovic won’t probably be picked in the 1st round and he’s gonna be a real steal. a lot of teams are gonna regret..he’s playing really high level of bball right now. biggest concern: defense against quicker SG. comparison: marco belinelli

i seriously loathe comparisons from college players to already established players and HallOfFame legends. It discredits the wrok the older player put in to get where they are versus some guy who hasnt even made it to the league yet.Still Embiid to the Dream.Hood is close to 6’8 and is a slim small forward in what way does he resemble a beasley or lewis? What passing from glenn robinson has shown you iggy? Man I hate comparisons from young to old especially when evaluations are not the perception of reality. Do you even understand how good derrick coleman was? Randle=Coleman 2.0. Seriously? and Really j.r. Smith to P.J. hairston? One thing i have seen from hairston and we heard from practice even when he wasnt playing is he was the tar heels most consistent player.

Well then there would be no player comparisons if established players are off limits. The point of player comparisons are to relate a young player’s game to someone everyone on the site knows well, and they are also predictions of how their talent will translate to the NBA.

He never said he had a great long range shot but yes Wiggins does have a silky smoothe release that appears easy and effortless.

PJ Hairston will be a lottery pick when it is said and done….he would have been the best SG in college basketball this season.  Makes me sad as a UNC fan, but I am happy seeing the success he is having.
