21-4-4 with 2.7TO on shooting 44/34/81 shooting last season.

What stats do you think he will get this season ?

For me, I think he tries to be the man abit too much this season.  I could see him force up more shots and teams adapt more to him.

Im going with 22-4-4 with 42/33/82 shooting. Last season averaged 17.2 FGA, I think this year he goes 19-20 FGA with 3.4TO

As predicted he is trying to play hero. Shot attempts up from 17.2 to up to nearly 19.

Shooting % are down to 41% and 29%. Not quite the once in a generation or future Hall of Famer alot of kids on here thought….

I think he will make an Oladipo type jump already this year. He is a physical talent, for sure, but is also a very fundamentally sound and smart player for his age. He has all the right pieces to be even more successful this year. Gobert has made great strides offensively and will a major target for assists on the interior with Ingles hitting from the outside. I project 25pts, 5.5 asts, 4 boards. on 46-36-84.

While I think Mitchell is very good and will become a true star in the league, some people are expecting him to score 25 ppg this season and this for sure won’t really happen unless he guns like crazy and I don’t expect him to be this kind of player. Be is smart, has a high basketball IQ, plays in control and is very mature for his age. To be honest he really seems to be a DWade level of player and I think the next goal should be to close the holes in his game to be more well rounded. He is not a good rebounder yet and also not really a playmaker in the classic was. His long range game is pretty inefficient now even if he topped the rookie 3 point total record.

I believe if he can become a better shooter immediately, the game will open up for him and his slashing game will become even more dangerous. Unfortunately I think this won’t happen very soon. His main focus should be becoming a better playmaker, defender and also a rebounder. There is no reason to not be a better rebounder if being physically gifted like him, or like a poster from here once said about another player, a phisical spaceman…

I say his numbers will only slightly increase but in nearly every category except efficiency. 23.2/4.5/4.9/ at 44/33/79 splits.

About the same, maybe a slight drop, a lot of guys go slightly backward 2nd year then learn from that and kill it going forward.. He finished well and it inflated his numbers last year as they had some bench guys like Burks and Exum out. They’ll get minutes and Mitchell will end up with about the same numbers. I agree with f377

I expect a slight fall off in totals but an uptick in efficiency. 19.7 pts, 4.0 rebs, 3.5 asts, 1.5 stls, 0.3 blks, 2.5 to, 46% fg, 35% 3pt, 82% ft

As the season winds down he finished with –

23-4-4  with his hero ball FGA at 19.8 per game 6th in the league.

    2.9TO  43-36-80% shooting
