From what I have seen he is a good athlete but not an elite athlete and as a NBA SG who is more of a slasher then shooter he would need to be a better athlete to make it in the NBA, I see him as Dominique Jones type of player, maybe a little less PG in him the Jones has.

and i think he can be a lottery pick. looking at the talent that could be entering the draft i dont think it woul dbe a stretch for him to be drafted around the 12th pick. as far as your post B Free think about marcus thornton. hes not an elite athlete either but he gets anywhere he wants to go on the floor and scores at will. kevin martin also comes to mind

Perhaps for the college level. At the nba level though, different story. HE’s probably more of a smooth athlete. I’d think the Dominique Jones comparison is actually pretty spot on athletically. Games are somewhat similar, except that Jones thinks he’s a PG, whereas Waiters knows his game and sticks to it. A deadly midrange scorer who will be a nightmare on the break. I see a career 6th man. Perhaps a 33rd or 4th scoring option in certain starting situations. More than likely though, a good scoring spark off the bench.

BTW, Jones is actually a good player who hasn’t been given a shot. I could actually see he and Roddy Buckets forming a poor man’s Westbrook Harden type of combo. Then again, I thought the same thing about Maurice Ager a few years back.
