why isnt he in the mock draft?

i see him as a Ronny turiaf in the NBA

He had a strong day one at the Portsmouth Tournament, so I would expect to see him in the mock draft when it is updated.

Nobody who played in Portsmouth has been drafted since 2006 i read. I know this field is beefed up with the simplified pre draft camp in orlando, but still. Anything short of a dominant performance there doesnt put you in the field if you werent there before I dont thin. This isnt a Demarre bashing tho. I like the kid, but Turiaf is in the 6’10 250 area. Its just not a great comparison. This is such a strong senior class that he might have trouble getting into a loaded second round, but I think he has a good shot to get drafted.

Demare Carrol has to improve on alot of areas to me, his jumpshot needs some work, ballhandling most def., post skills, wow, i jus see this kid as a all hustle player if he makes it to tha nba

if Renaldo Balkman can get picked in the first round i don’t see why Carroll can’t make it into the second round…to me they seem like the same player

Problem for Demare is that I think everybody in the league knows that was a bad pick. Unless Isiah gets another gig, I dont see him goin first round. He has a chance but In many ways, I see this draft bieng stronger in the second round than in the first, with a dirth of solid measurable, accomplished senior players. Not saying the prospects there are better than the first, that would be ridiculous of course, but that there are more worthy players than there are slots in the second round, which I can’t really say about the first.
