SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantI am truly excited for those ping pong balls. Would love to see the Pelicans bust the odds and grab the number 1 pick. Lonzo AD and boogie would be wow.

nill650ParticipantYeah I would like to see New Orleans get a top 3 pick , because Sacramento will likely mess up my entire mock if they have 2 picks. If history dictates it, and no propects are working out for them, they will pick somebody like Papagiannis again.
My guess is Sac will finally pick well and take either Smith or Ntilikina and with the NO pick take Isaac,Monk,Jackson or Markanen.
But if they are still stubborn and poor at scouting they will pick Diallo with one of thier picks take the gamble, and he never reaches his potential. And with the 2nd pick in the lottery they take Jarret Allen or Ike Anigbugo, because it is the one position of least need.

nill650Participantthe best thing about this lottery is how many variables there are.
philly has best chances at 2 picks and with the ability to swap picks with Sacramento increases the odds at a top 3 pick as well.
Lakers have the most to lose as they will not only not get the pick this year if it falls outside the top 3, they will then also lose the 2019 1st reound pick to Orlando
Boston can do no worse than 4 and the likelyhood they use it as trade bait if it’s at 2 -4 is higher than any other lottery team being they are stacked and heading to the ecf.
Pelicans have only a 4 % chance of getting a top 3 pick so sacramento is not sweating that too much,as they will only lose it if it’s in the top 3.
Sac cannot pick at 1 even if they win the top pick as philly can swap it with wherever they land. Sac best case scenario is They win the top pick Sixers win the 2nd and they swap it leaving sac at 2.
worst case scenario for Sacramento is if 3 of the 5 teams in the lottery with better records all move into the top 3 pushing everyone else down 3 spots, pushes their own pick to 11 where it goes to Miami, and if New orleans is one of them they will lose that pick too.
