what about the grizz. They can offer Jackson a pick and parsons. They get rid of the parsons and add butler to Conley and gasol. The wolves pair Wiggins towns with Jackson as the 3,4 and 5 of the future and the pick is for taking on parsons. He could be an ok bench player and let’s be real the wolves don’t need cap space no one is coming maybe they hit a gem in the draft with the pick.

They Griz only entertain this if Jackson has been a huge disappointment in training camp. He could be a more useful player than butler has ever been within 2-3 years so I’m not sure why they would give up on that plus throw in a pick.

I think Denver is the darkhorse team. They dont mind taking in veteran players or players that are injury prone if the potential value could exceed the cost IT and Millsap are good examples of this. They also have a ton of young talent they can offer.

Why make the trade at all???

Memphis should review what Danny Aigne did in Boston & get ahead of a coming rebuild b/c Gasol & Conley are getting older

Danny Aigne put out the Blue Print for a proper Rebuild w/ aging All Stars.

And the Grizz should learn, live love it

Good point about Memphis following the Boston idea and letting a team age naturally and then restock. Memphis haven’t got their pick this season but they added a good young piece in Jaren Jackson and playing along someone like Marc Gasol for a year or two will be good for him.

When Memphis next go to the draft lottery they should have Jaren established so will have one building block already in place. Memphis will clear cap space next summer and even more in 2020 so the rebuild can happen naturally.

If you talk about Darkhorse teams how about the Cavs with Sexton and Hill for Butler? The Cavs pair K-Love and Butler, the T-Wolves get Hill who is a Thibs type guy and his great 2019-20 contract and a young piece in Sexton.

But rumour now is Butler likes the Heat as a destination.

     report —-

The Suns are reportedly interested in Jeff Teague and Tyus Jones.

They’re still looking for a starting point guard, and if Goran Dragic is included in part of the Jimmy Butler trade, that would make one of the other Minnesota point guards expendable. Pheonix is willing to be the third team here to help facilitate a deal if they can nab a starting PG, and Sacramento is also willing to get involved if they can sneak a first-rounder.

Jeff Teague would be a good pick up for the Suns and give them a backcourt veteran and add to their veteran locker room leaders alongside Chandler and Ariza.

The Kings are looking for assets so any extra picks they can get being receiving team will help.
