On the 2011 mock it has Darius Morris as the 39th pick. Do you actually think he will enter the draft. I hope not because if he stays Michigan will be a top team next year. What kind of nba talent do you think he is anyway?

"60. Darius Morris 6-4 190 PG Michigan So. — (+41 ) Morris is said to be leaning towards entering the draft. Scouts have him pegged as a mid second rounder. He lacks great foot speed but is a true point guard with excellent size. An additional year could allow him to develop into a first rounder."

I happen to like Morris quite a bit. He is so big for a point guard, and especially today when out there with Smith and Irving makes me wonder if he is actually taller than his listed 6′ 4. He has the LA point guard style with great handles and vision, but another year of work on his shot and refine the rest of his game would really blow up his stock.

Like is his game. Unless he has grown since last summer he isn’t taller than 6’4( spoke with him last summer during my nephews academic all american game out in Cali where he was the guest speaker. Nice kid)

I think he comes back. And I hope so.

Michigan will be so nice next year if he comes back.

He towers over Smith and Irving. If he is 6’4, then those two aren’t 6’2.

They probably aren’t 6’2.  Unless i have grown past the age of 25 ( that would be nice)

If he stays another year and gets a consistent jump shot he will be really tough to stop. Morris is unbelievably good at using his size advantage and with his excpetional ballhandling he will be a load to defend

I dont think he will be that hard to defend because he’s not the type that’s gonna be a scorer int he NBA. His role will be to score sometimes and get others the ball, not a DRose or Westbrook type that you have to figure out how to stop from scoring.

Yeah he is a distributer but with a better jumpshot it will make it easier for him to get into the paint and make plays there

It will but i still dont see him ever becoming a guy in the nba where you have to plan to stop from scoring alot of points

Morris has great size, is a very good ball-handler and an unselfish passer, but he’s a bit unpolished and needs to work on his shot. I have liked Morris since he was a Fr. and despite not seeing the ball alot playing beside the ballhog Manny Harris, he showed some nice flashes of breaking out like he’s done. I even mentioned him as an NBA prospect before the season, when nobody really was even thinking about him in that light. I’m a fan but he has some room to grow as a player and prospect.

i think Trey Burke has a fighting chance at starting. I think it should be him or Carlton starting at the 2. i dont like Stu Douglas at all
