 What are some of your hometown teams catchphrases (any sport/league). I was just wondering because Matt Devlin could win the corniest cornball award for all announcers and hes starting this season in topform. Hes already dubbed CJ Miles as CJ "Kilometers" and on Anunoby’s first bucket he called out OG oh my"oh gee oh my" . You guys gotta be suffering as well right?

Side note bonus: Was watching a Bulls game years ago and Luol Deng did a rip through right by his man for a dunk. My friend said something like "That was a nice blow by and bang" and I said that was a "Deng bang." And that started a year long joke about Luol "being here for the Deng bang."

We have Zumoff in Philly and I think he is great.  "Locking all windows and doors" and "for the win, yes!" My two favorites.  "Picking up some loose change" is kind of a generic one.  Our color commentators are the ones that say dumb shit and complain about the calls.

 Zumoff is pretty bad but I laugh at his unintentional sexual innuedo. I recall Kyle Korver backing down Luther Head to the call of "Korver wants head"..Just one of many of Marc’s many hilarious moments.

Personally I find most announcers/commentators to be distracting and annoying. Honestly I’d much rather they mic up every player on the court, sure there might need to be an age restriction because there’s going to be a ton of swearing, but wouldn’t that be awesome and immersive? They could turn them off during timeouts or half time to keep people from cheating (by listening to their strategies).

I know it won’t happen, I just think it would be neat. Heck if they wanted to get reall crazy they could put a GoPro on all the players!

 I can honestly say that I would hate that. The and-ones and constant complaining about fouls is bad enough when I can barely hear it.
