Mr. 19134ParticipantHuge Fisher fan who I even went as far as saying he will be a National Player of the Year Candidate because he is going to be the best player in one of the best conferances. I had Kemba Walker on that same list BTW.
Fisher will make a living in the NBA and he has underrated athletic ability. He is not a super leapers, or super explosive, but he is extremely quick and strong. He got great handles and underrated court vision. I have saw Fisher make some passing plays that were truly amazing. If Waynes wasn’t on this Nova team you are talking about a 20 and 6 guy. Maalik Waynes is a lotto talent IMO.
Corey Fisher will probably end up in the late first round. He got great range and handles and is the type of talent who will separate himself in workouts. He is a classic Philly guard who is tough nosed, blue collar, but mixed with his New York pedigree making his flashy and always going for the throat and you got yourself a winning guard.

jaysmith1987ParticipantIf Scottie Reyolds goes undrafted last year playing for the same team and being an all american and best player on team there is no way Fisher goes first round.

Sonny RedParticipantHe has absolutely no shot of being drafted. I put in the same boat as Scottie Reynolds, both very good college players, but neither have the athletic ability to play in the NBA. I’m from Philly and watch a good bit of Nova games, haven’t most of the players they sent to the NBA last few years been underachievers? I was surprised to read a lot of "experts" have Yarou being a potential lottery pick, I don’t see what they do. He is a good athlete but doesn’t have a high bball IQ or natural ability.

Da1potParticipantWhy do you think he has absolutely no shot of being drafted????? Reynolds was always listed mid to low second round pick on most mocks, but Fisher is listed in the first round on some mocks, and is a much better NBA prospect than Reynolds ever was. He is not just an outside shooter at the NBA level like Reynolds would have been. Fisher is an advanced offensive guard who can drive and score from the outside. He has the handles and shiftiness that Reynolds lacks and keeps defenders off balance with some good moves. Whether or not he can play in the NBA I certainly think he will get drafted….

Sonny RedParticipantI just don’t think he has what it takes to be a point guard in the NBA, he has good athletic ability but not great, he has a good jumper but not great, he has a hard time finishing around the basket, his decision making is suspect at times, and hes not a natural pg. He probably doesn’t have the size to be a combination guard. Him spending 4 years in college alone speaks volumes to me, Kyle Lowery came out after his second year, because he was a more explosive player. Draft Express has Corey Fisher as their 35th ranked senior. It just seems like Nova produces great college guards who don’t transfer well to the NBA for some reason.

JNixonParticipantFisher is a quick, scoring guard who is a tweener. Likely 2nd round pick, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go undrafted. He’s not a true PG and I doubt he’ll be efficient in the NBA. He plays a bit wild alot of the time.
