ShyhillParticipantEverybody says this is a weak draft so if im a hornets team i would be looking for a big..Cody Zeller would be an upgrade and i doubt trey Burke would come in right away and out play Vazquez..they could even trade down their pick get a pg and a big? I think they should fill some needs

KHAM83ParticipantI agree that they should get a big to pair with Davis, but IMO, both Davis and Zeller are PFs. I would go with Len.

KHAM83ParticipantAlso, not to say Zeller shouldn’t move up. I think he should be the first pf off the board, over Bennett.

GrovesinternationalParticipantI feel like even though they are both Power forwards, Zeller and Davis are compatible pieces in the front court. Anthony Davis (6’10”) is the Defender/shotblocker with a decent offensive game close and a knack for getting rebounds. Zeller (7’0″) is a good offensive player in the post, can shoot out to the 3 point line and can defend decently.
I would prefer Len, but a Zeller/Davis frontcourt could work pretty effectively

FutureNBAGMParticipantThey could also look for a small forward. Aminu may not be back since he’s a UFA so maybe Muhammed would be a good choice too(unless Porter falls into their laps somehow).

ShyhillParticipantThey should go with a safer pick being Burke Zeller or Len they can get that high caliber scorer next year

jjbutler73ParticipantI thought you were talking Charlotte at first.

DolanCareParticipantThe Pelicans are actually relatively ok at the 4 and 5. As I have said countless times on this site, I love Len and wouldn’t blame the Pelicans for grabbing him. That being said, they have serviceable bigs already in place with Lopez and Smith. Their need is more at finding an athletic PG, a poetential SG replacement for Gordon and of course someone to step up at the SF spot.

juves4783Participantgrab len, throw the season and draft andrew wiggins or jabari parker to man the 3. that’s the easy solution.
