Right now on paper i think the Clippers look like the better, and definitely are the much more exciting team in L.A. I dont know what the Lakers are gonna do if Bynum goes down like usual. The Clippers will probably move a pg for another sg and or center too.

    Fisher/Blake                                                                                      Chris Paul/Chauncey Billups/Eric bledso

    Kobe/Jason Kapono                                                                         Randy Foye/Mo Williams/Travis Leslie

Metta World Peace/Matt Barnes/Luke Walton                                  Caron Butler/ Ryan Gomes

Pau Gasol/ Josh McRoberts                                                              Blake Griffin/Craig Smith

Andrew Bynum/ Derrick Caracter                                                     DeAndre Jordan/Trey Thompkins

The Clippers are very athletic and if they get a 2 guard, maybe Deshawn Stevenson or Jamal Crawford, oh boy the Staples Center is gonna rock all night, I wonder how Billups feels though see 1st he got shipped away from Detroit ending their dynasty, then his hometown team traded him, then he got cut, only to be picked up by a bad team, then the team got better but at the expense of him coming off the bench, along with that this is his 6th ot 7th team, yet he’s a Finals MVP and clutch performer. I mean really where did he go wrong

Chauncey Billups will be the Clippers starting SG…He can play off the ball…He played well in the same backcourt as CP3 in the qualifiers for the 2008 Olympics.

It’s hard to ever bet against Kobe and the Lakers, but when they play each other it will be far more competitive. The Clippers main question mark lies at the 2-guard spot to me right now, maybe if Randy Foye is given a bigger role and opportunity he can show flashes of himself at Villanova again. Blake and CP3 is a match made in heaven obviously so only time will tell.

Should be fun in L.A., the Clippers can run and if they stay healthy will be fun to watch.

Still defending guys like Kobe and Gasol is never easy and they might still make a move.

I’d still take the Lakers unless Bynum gets hurt.

Better teams on paper seen it plenty of times just look at the Eagles in the NFL.

i don’t know..evereybody loves cp3 will play with Blake..but EG is the future allstar Kaman former allstar Aminu has some potential and that pick could be top3 next year to pick another star..it’s too much imo for cp3 who we don’t know how long he will be healthy

The clippers got a lot of good pieces but theres still questions about their front court depth. Plus in a shortened season, bynam is more likely to stay healthy. in my book kobe’s still better than CP3, gasol is still better than griffin, bynam is still better than jordan, artest will shut down butler any day of the week, and derek fisher although chauncey is beast and is certainly better than fisher, fisher can ball come playoff time. i no they lost odom but i think mcroberts is an underrated player who can have a similar impact. and barnes (as weve seen) provides a great pair of fresh defensive legs for World Peace. I still like the lakers

Honestly, I think the Clippers win the hype battle.  With a guy like Blake Griffin entering his second season as a pro, he should have vastly improved, which is great considering he was already a top 10 PF, considerably a top 5.  Then they go out and get a guy like Chris Paul who does everything right.  He passes, shoots well, and is a great defender.  CP3 throwing a lob up to Blake Griffin will be the nastiest spectacle to witness this year in my opinion, and the Clippers are looking very good at this point in time.  However, they have yet to play together and they already have a shortened training camp, so the chemistry may be lacking.  Sure, the Lakers may not have gotten Paul and did trade Lamar Odom, but hey they are still the Lakers and they can still play good basketball.  Adding Darius Morris to the backcourt only helps the Lajers in this case because of Morris’s great passing ability.

So as of right now, I believe both will have good season and will both make the playoffs.  Only time will tell how these two teams will pan out.

I Cant believe folks are giving the Clippers the Ring already…Remember The Summer of 2010- Two Time MVP Lebron James & All Star Chris Bosh joins All NBA Guard Dwayne Wade in Miami….People were saying give them the Ring right now..They should win 80 games..

The Clippers having Griffin,CP3,Caron Butler and Billups on the same team also looks good on paper..But chemistry will play a big part in determining how far they’ll go in the playoffs..

But if they keep Billups and play him at the 2..Their starting lineup ,looks more team oriented then the Heat…
