    1. Cleveland- Irving- they need a PG and he’s their guy

    2. Minnesota- Kanter- they need a C and he’s the best available

    3. Utah- Knight- they need a PG and SF- Derrick Williams wont fit with Favors and Jefferson and Knight can play with Harris in the backcourt

    4. Cleveland- Williams- BPA and can play both 3 and 4

Not trying to sound like an Ahole but did you even read what you wrote? You said that Utah needs a PG and a SF and that Williams wouldn’t fit with Favors and Jefferson. Then in the next sentence you write that Williams is the BPA and can play both the 3 AND the 4. If he can play the 3 why would the Jazz pass on him when you yourself said they need a 3?

I will be really surpised if it goes down that way.

I think it will go like this.

    1. Caviliers – Derrick Williams – With Ramon Sessions playing so well and Baron Davis with OK backup potenial there is no need for a second PG

    2. T’Wolves – Enes Kanter – I agree with this pick. Probably will tag team well with Kevin Love and with Rubio’s Draft rights there is no reason to take Irving

    3. Utah – Kyrie Irving – Most of the time he will probably play backup to Harris it allows him to not have alot of pressure in his first few seasons or they could trade Harris for a good SG.

    4. Caviliers – Jonas Valacunis – Cavs need a high quality centre. They haven’t had a centre that is talented and young for a while now. He could be the perfect fit for them.

    5.  Toronto Raptors – Brandon Knight – They need a player to build around and I think Knight could be that guy. It would be a tough deciesion between him and Vesley but I think they need a PG.

If ur a team like the cavs u take the best player to help re-build ur lebronless franchise and that guy is Kyrie. He is the closest thing to a complete player in this draft. This is kinda like the rose or beasley debate all over again. Yes the cavs have sessions and davis however that doesnt seem to be helping them in the W’s department.

If I had to select the most realistic top 5 it would go something like this…

    1) Cavs: Kyrie Irving…as stated before he is the start of a new beginning.

    2) T-Wolves: Enes Kanter….theres already enough PGs, SFs, and PFs on this squad they need a C or SG and Burks is way too out of jurasdiction, so kanter is the most likely option. He may not have had played in two years but he still has the size and skills to be a good fit to love.

    3) Jazz: Derrick Williams…getting rid of DWill for a new DWill, they need a nice SF piece however he has always played PF since high school i can see him being able to transition into a sf. the starters can be nice with harris, hayward, williams, millsap, jefferson and miles + favors + okur come off the bench.

    4) Cavs: Jan Vesely….i know most of u think jonas is a better fit and i do agree and disagree in some ways however the cavs arent a team with a lot of money and theyd need to either wait on jonas’ contract to run out or buy him out. They do have hickson to play a little bit center i know hes more of a pf however varejao when healthy can play some C. Vesely seems like a great athletic project for the cavs. He can jump out in transition with kyrie and get easy passes for monster dunks.

    5) Raptors: Bismack Biyombo….ok now hold ur horses rap fans. I know ur hoping for me to say knight or walker but as of right now bayless is the same as these two guys when he came out, highly touted offensive pg. and when given the chance this season he played extremely well so id hold off on pg discussions. Personally i am a raps fan and i want another year of losing in order to strike gold in next years draft were not winning anytime soon so we might as well grab the most interesting prospect with the biggest upside. We need a big defensive prescence we have been craving since antonio davis/jyd/oakley. We all bargs wont defend and rebound so we need bismack to mature more and more and listening to him speak he sounds like a guy who really wants to improve his game.

I honestly feel Irving could fall to 3 as well. The way the league is now solid point guards are a dime a dozen. Though Irving is the arguably the best pg prospect in the draft, I don’t think Cleveland takes him unless they feel he has superstar potential. Also, Brandon Knight shouldn’t fall past the Raptors, which means Kemba should go 7th to the Kings. These are just predictions but I do know I will be watching the draft combine to compare players. People may say this draft is weak, but you can’t say you aren’t anxious to watch and speculate with all the uncertainty.

The Cavs actually do have money, They have the 14.1 million trade expense from the lebron James trade. So they could buy out Jonas, which I think they’ll do since, they had good experience with their last lithuanian center. (Big Z)

But I think it will go..1. Kyrie Irving

    2. Minnesota trading back(Derrick Williams will be selection)

    3. Enes Kanter

    4. Jonas Valanciunas.

I would honestly take Jan Vessely on potential since there’s all the Blake Griffin comparisons out there, and he can play small forward at 6’11" 230. But the Cavs need to win now.

it seems that i have a different top 5 to everyone else!

cleveland 1) derrick williams. this pick would only happen with huge, huge insight into who the jazz want at 3, but the combo of players with the best upside by far would be knight and williams

wolves 2) kyrie irving. i don’t care what you think of enes kanter, irving is the sort of player you don’t pass on, even if you end up trading the pick instead. there are so many teams enamoured with rubio, you could find him a home.

jazz 3) enes kanter- good fit, plus i would to see them get value for jefferson- the iguadola trades looked very intruiging…

cleveland 4) brandon knight- the 1 and 4 positions sorted for years. and two uptempo scorers also

raptors 5) jonas valancuinas- centre means that bargs can finally play the 4 spot.

the main reason why Irving should worry is that cavs have #4 too and i’ve heard they really really like Brandon Knight..plus small forward is bigger need so D-Will makes more sence

offcourse combo of Irving and Kanter would be great but while hearing that Kanter is in perfect shape already i don’t believe he won’t be top3 (actually i believe he also has some chances at #1)

so it’s really possible that there will be Williams/Kanter – Knight than Irving – ??Valanciunas? Vesely?

for the Cavs, base on this draft, i see only two possible combinations to go for:

option 1 – Kyrie Irving and Enes Kanter

option 2 – Derrick Williams and Brandon Knight

what route do you think is the best? it’s hard for me to decide!!

I think they will take Irving at No. 1. They may even try to move the No. 4 and some combination of Sessions, Jamison, Gibson to move up to No. 2 or No. 3. I think they’ll worry that Williams-Kanter or Kanter-Williams go No. 2 and No. 3 and they really don’t like the drop-off after those top three players.

while i do think irving is the best player in the draft the drop off from irving too knight isnt that much and imo williams is much better than what the cavs would take at 4 if they take irving no 1 a future of building around williams and b knight is a very good start

Under some of the above scenarios, if the Jazz do not take a PG at 4, then they will take Jimmer at #12

What if Rubio forces a trade or tells Minnesota he won’t ever play for them.

If that happens and the Cavs take Williams, Kahn would take Irving.

Lots of options if the Cavs like Kanter more than anyone they could trade down to #2 and the Wolves take Irving.

Who knows if the teams BPA is Irving, Williams or Kanter.

Enes Kanter will not be drafted before Derrick Williams.

I (hope that) do not need to go into detail as to why, and am surprised that some people would even suggest this.

Funny when someone has a horrid thread.. they never come back to it in hopes that it will die out quicker.

Derrick Williams is just about the most complete player in this draft and you’re telling me he’s dropping to 4th?  Especially when one of thse teams is in dire need of a player at his position?  (Jazz)

If I was BC I would be fine with one of Kanter, Knight, or Leonard. Kanter would take the 5 & push Bargs to the 4 (possible exit of one of the other 4’s) . His two way ability & rebounding would be welcomed at that position.

Knight could be the end of Calderon. Provides some jump in scoring & D as he is more athletic than Calderon. Is a Bayless type of player but if he improves his passing game would get the nod as the starter.

Leonard is IMO the big sleeper in this draft. His shot has been improving dramatically & would be ridiculous running the floor w/DeRozan NTM the D & rebounds he would provide.

Kemba Walker just because of the speed & his ability to take over games. Him & DeRozan would be very hard to contain defensively.

I think its hilarious how the team that obviously tanked games got the second pick and then complained the lottery was rigged. I think the cavs will take Irving for sure so please Wolves fans stop dreaming and posting about the cavs passing on Irving. Kyrie has been at the top of the cavs draft board for months and we will select him no.1. I think the cavs then get Kanter assuming that Minnesota takes Williams and the Jazz take a pg which they need badly. I wouldn’t be upset drafting Kawhi Leonard #4 either.

Really? Really? Derrick Williams is not falling past 3. Like I said before, Knight is a top 5-7 talent, but if I were the Jazz i would take Williams and trade up my twelve, or trade down my 3 and keep my 12. By the way, assuming Harris is traded trying to trade up their 12, How would Knight-Miles-Williams-Milsap-Jefferson sound for next season. And if Kirelinko comes back, you have AK47, and Favors, Gordon Hayward, Ronnie price, and hopefuly a healthy Mehmo Okur. And if Favors, Williams, and Irving pan out, and Jefferson gets 16 and 9, plus a productive Milsap, you have a contender in 5-6 years. Jerry Sloan would be proud

Eventually, Cleveland realizes Derrick Williams is their guy and their best hope for a LeBron replacement.  The Cavs need to nail down their C and SF positions more than they need a replacement for Ramon Sessions/Baron Davis at PG.  They currently have no future at SF and Ryan Hollins is their C.  This draft could change that.

    1. Cleveland:  Derrick Williams 6’8" SF (more athletic version of Michael Beasley)

    2. Minnesota:  Kyrie Irving 6’2" PG (Rubio’s not coming)

    3. Utah:  Jan Vesely 6’11" SF (best European prospect this year)

    4. Cleveland:  Enes Kanter 6’11" C (rock solid C is best low post player in the draft)

    5. Toronto:  Brandon Knight 6’3" PG (eventual star PG in the league)
