Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantGood game on ESPNU right now between Oak Hill and St. Joseph. Really like this kid’s game. He’s 6-9 220 with a silky outside shot, nice post moves and very good vision for a player his size. He’s currently ranked number 15 in the class of 2015 and has committed to Kansas next season, and should be able to be an impact player immediately. He has the potential to probably play either forward position, although he projects as more of a four unless he can improve his handle enough to play on the wing. He also probably needs to get stronger. Still, he has a very impressive skill level and feel for the game for a player his age.

TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantcomparison. I think someone -‘d you because Quincy Miller didn’t pan out as expected. I +’d because its a really good one. Miller had knee problems and Baylor isn’t known for great development anyway. Bragg is a NBA player but doesn’t have heart.
The blurting out Kentucky instead of Kansas thing was funny because he always wanted to go to Kentucky. I personally believe when Cal visited his house he told him that he wouldn’t guarantee him minutes. That was all Bragg need to hear because he has some chest cavity issues and he wasn’t going to out motor guys. He could be a average college defender (as far as elite prospects go) but he lacks the fire and heart to ever be a great one.

IczerParticipantNormally I just read comments, but decided to sign up after this one. Other than the fact that he fumbled his speech in one of the most important decisions he’s had to make, what evidence do you have that he wanted to go to Kentucky? On top of that, you think that Bill Self told Bragg he’d get gauranteed minutes? You’re clueless if so. There’s just so much wrong in this post.

TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantI worked in recreation, coached HS and AAU in Cleveland for 10 years. Coached in the same conference as St. Joes and have seen him in a Kentucky t shirt at least 5 times. Besides it is a known fact that he wanted to go to Kentucky. Matter of fact I think he was in the Plain Dealer at one point early in his recruiting saying he won’t pick a college until Coach Cal gave him a up or down on a scholarship.
There is very little wrong with my post and I said that as a joke about the minutes, I prefaced that comment with I’m basically making that part up to kinda clown the kid about lacking toughness and heart. Not to mention that Coach Cal is noted for always telling everyone he won’t guarantee them minutes then guaranteed minutes this year with the Blue and White squad and has to realize that was he doesnt want to do that every year.
