Shout to Eli Holman and U of D Mercy. Top 10 in nation in rebounds, FG%, and tops in nation in double double games. Avg 15pts and 11rbds…all for a guy that didnt start picking up the game till 16 years old.

Do you guys think that as basketball grows, so will the talent level in non BCS conferences?

    wow where is aeveryone tonight?

anyways yeah i think that in the future, talent in the smaller schools and conferences will grow, but its also questionable, as most of the big time hs players get scholorships towards schools like duke, kentucky, etc…

I agree but I think alot of times these top HS players are a tad bit over rated.

I definelty think that with all the top schools getting one and dones its going to effect those programs in a bad way. Because the teams like Zaga and Xavier, Butler to an extent and every now and then a team like George Mason will appear who get decent recruits ( mainly Zaga and X) and then get to develope them over a few seasons have them buy into the system and have them grow into men with offseason and inseason workout programs. The big programs will be hitching the wagon to top recruits ala  Kentucky last season, and they were a good team but I didn’t think they were gonna win it all.

So yes I do think the talent will get beter but it hink the teams will be beter matched because of the developement that will happen at the small schools and lake of development at the big ones.

Also Detroit looks good, don’t forgot the coaches son is a 5 star recruit Mcdonalds All American from last year and none of their starters are seniors and possibly only Eli will leave, so look out.
