Deng and Hinrich are on the trading block.
Thats where the bulls are at right now. The contracts there are only worth 11.5 million plus Omer Asik who is coming from overseas. The cap is 56.1 million. Thats 44.6 million to spend. Maybe 43 million after the rookie and Omer gets signed. Its enough for two big time free agents plus some role players. They have 17th pick.

With that pick they could go after orton,sanders, udoh, henry, anderson, or whiteside. They could use help at SG or at center in the draft. I dont like taking a small forward here and having johnson and the rookie split the time at small forward. I would like the pick to backup SG or C and sign a vet SF or keep deng.

Hinrich makes 9 mil this season and 8 mil the next. we wont be able to sign him after that with rose and noah needing to get paid. its time to get rid of him now before he leaves for free. Deng has not had a healthy season in three years and thats why i want to get rid of him. I like his talent and potential plus hes is only 25. but he missed 12 games this year and it was a healthy year for him. He is making 11.3 mil a season and it goes up a mil a season for the next four years. We can spend that money on somebody who will play.

Dorrell Wright- Defensive stopper
Luke Ridnour- Back up PG

In the draft they could look to get Hassan Whiteside who may fall if not then Daniel Orton they need frontsourt help b/c I think they will get either JJ/D.Wade/Bron

maybe grab a 2nd rounder and draft Sherron Collins who will fit in perfectly as a true back up

hire a top notch big name coach, not Cal but maybe Jeff Van Gundy, Tom Thibedou or Byron Scott

As long as they have Rose they will have some sort of success. I would love to see them pick up David Lee and Rudy Gay this off-season. However i think both might be a stretch in which case i would like Lee and maybe have a look at a veteran player like Ray Allen to add some outside shooting which the Bulls severely lack.

All i know is Derrick Rose is probably the best scoring PG in the game right now and if he can become a better than average 3point shooter they will have tonnes of success.
