I’ve heard of the saying "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts", but with the Bucks it’s the total opposite of that.

This team is showing absolutely zero passion, zero grit. Prunty is an awful coach. His guys aren’t motivated at all.

The same problems continue to persist: the Bucks still utilize a bizzare defensive scheme that traps and fails to utilize the switchability of the Bucks long players, the Bucks can’t corral a simple rebound, they don’t box out, they make stupid pass after stupid pass, the offensive system is archaic, and Prunty continues to rely on the services of Snell, Bledsoe and Jabari Parker, all of whom have been awful this series.

I’m shocked that guys like Sterling Brown and Delly haven’t played much at all this series. These are gritty defensive players who inject energy, and yet they haven’t seen the floor at all.

Middleton, Giannis and Brogdon have been the only three players to show up for the Bucks this series. Jabari continues to turn the ball over, and he doesn’t hustle back on defense. I’d be shocked if he gets anywhere near a max contract at this point.

If the Bucks want to keep Giannis, they need a complete overhaul. The coaching staff hasn’t gotten it done. The players around Giannis not named Middleton and Brogdon haven’t gotten it done. I’d love Fizdale for the Bucks. I think he’d be able to install accountability into the organization, and overhaul the offense and defense. The Bucks have a lot of untapped potential as a team, and I think he’d help us get there.

As a Wisconsin sports fan, this has been a terrible year. Giannis is basically what Aaron Rodgers is to the Packers — he’s the whole team (just look at Giannis’ on/off splits).

Sorry for the long rant/post. I’m pissed.

Eric Bledsoe was supposed to be the difference maker after the trade.

Being a Bucks’ fan, what’s your take on the Jason Kidd firing and what he could’ve done with this team in the playoffs?

I honestly don’t think much would change. Kidd was a big proponent of the failing defensive scheme that Prunty still uses, the offense is pretty similarly run, and the rebounding was still really bad.

I’d still rather have Kidd, though, if only because Giannis loved him. However, I’m glad he got canned because he showed time and time again he wasn’t the coach of the future.

letting Monroe walk was a huge mistake they don’t have any big men with girth.

Any chance they go the Philadelphia route by putting Giannis back at PG then surrounding him with shooters and some rim protection maybe in the form of WHITESIDE.

I guess a big need for them is an actual coach with a game plan, I think Vogel would actually be quite a good fit.

I think they expected more from Thon Maker.  Big disappointment so far

     a lineup of

    pg. Bledsoe/brogdon

    sg. Middleton

    sf. Parker

    pf. Giannis

    c. Maker

was supposed to be awesome imo,  maybe it still can be with the right coach

And there’s Bledsoe talking smack, telling reporters he doesn’t know rozier, lol after getting his ass kicked. They need some players with motor, and grit and passion that their players don’t have, I don’t see that in their palyers besides those three, Giannis Khris and Malcom. They need some grit, need some veteran also, Their play was just give the dam ball to Giannis Middleton and Iso or pick and roll, look at hiw Boston moves the ball with everyone moving, for the bucks it’s just Iso ball and clear out, and watch. They have many miscues and defense, swicthing and others, plus their turnover killed them. I saw couple of plays where bucks went inside via drive and iso then force a pass inside but failed to complete a pass and turn it over. Look at Jabari.

or Identity as a team – When I watch the Bucks it’s obvious they have some crazy individual talent

The Greek is a remarkable talent, Middleton & Parker are excellent talents, Bledsoe & Brogdon are really good perimeter players

But Milwaukee doesn’t play great Defense & they don’t shoot the 3 ball well. When you have a rare talent like Giannis who single handedly collapses the Defense b/c he Must be double teamed you have to surround him w/ some shooters to take advantage of all the open space the Greek creates when he penetrates off the Dribble

Every goes gaga over the Rebuilds in Boston & Phila but what BOTH those squads had in common was a Very strong GM (Danny Aigne & Sam Hinkie) who had a Vision & then went out & Hired a coach (Brad Stevens & Brett Brown) who was the Bedrock of the Program & Both started w/ DEFENSE

When Defense is at the core of your program & ALL the players KNOW if you do Not play Defense you do Not play at all it creates a Culture & a toughness as a team that Unifies that the Locker Room
