JBrace19ParticipantI really like Brandon Knight and his game. He is a good shooter, a good passer and a pretty good ball handler…but he is more of a natural SG, and the problem with that is he is undersized at SG. He is kind of at a situation that Ben Gordon or an Allen Iverson is/was in. But i think if he did work on PG skills he could be the pure PG a team needs. The one thing im not sure about is his court vision though and if anything stops him from being an NBA PG, thats what it will be. But i think he could make the transition from SG to PG like Russel Westbrook did.
Thoughts…

cabbycabParticipantAs I’ve commented before, Knight reminds me of Quincy Dooby. I lived in NYC when Dooby was playing in high school and he was absolutely unguardable and had similar prep career as Knight.; That is to say, a ball handling shooting guard. I can’t say Knight is better than Dooby and I don’t even know where Dooby is right now. Knight could either be a three point specialist for somebody or be forgotten.

lalailaParticipantbig talent.. he is younger even than HS seniors like Rivers Miller..and he already gets 17/4/4 on really good team..
plus his 6’3-6’4 190-200 frame is already good so he could easily grow into strong and very good combo guard

jas225ParticipantWith his ability to score, pass, and defend, like lake show said and his size of about 6’3". I can see him developing into a Chauncey Billups type player down the road in the NBA, although not right away.

NashyMingParticipantChauncey Billups is a good comparison. Knight is a big PG that can post up, play some D, shoot from range, but he has yet to learn to run an offense. He is a solid passer, but not yet to the level of a starting PG in the NBA. However, he seems to be a smart kid with a good work ethics and personality. He also has leadership even though he’s only a freshman. Billups was a late-bloomer that it took him a few years to finally become a legit PG to run an NBA team under Larry Brown. If Knight works on his PG skills, he can become an all-star.
