ChosenOneParticipantOk everyone is talking about John Wall being the NEXT BIG THING. Also Derrick Rose being a rare player. Brandon Jennings being amazing next AI except more of a playmaker. An last but not least Tyreke Evans scoring at will and really doing a little bit of everything. But what about Brandon Knight this kid is the truth to me and my next big thing. An theres no one on ESPN talking about him there all busy on Harrison Barnes. Show my boy some love. He definitely better than cough cough Derrick Rose to me. I know now a lot of you are fixin to come and say hell no. An John Wall is flat out amazing have you seen his games Chosenone but i’m like lets see him play some NBA games before we all go crazy. Just saying though I know Knight still in High School and a lot of players dominate but I just have a feeling.P.S. please commit to UCONN.

MagikKnickParticipantHis time will come, like you said hes still in HS, nobody reallys talking about anyone in HS at the moment..
But I think his hype’ll start to pickup again once he commits somewhere…

Im Your FatherParticipant^Duke is no longer recruiting Knight now that they have Kyrie Irving, who is a top 5 player himself.

QHaynes20Yea…I’m a Dukie
I know, I wish he could still come to Duke. We need one more recruit. Plus that’s why I said “Reconsider”

gatorheelsParticipantSo who all is Knight considering now?

ChosenOneParticipantConnecticut,Kentucky,Kansas,Florida,Miami, and Syracuse.

gatorheelsParticipantWell out of that list I hope he goes to Florida (1st choice) if not them then Kentucky.

MagikKnickParticipantIf he chose Kentucky, Coach Calipari would have had 4, Lottery PGs, in 4 years
Rose
Evans
Wall
and then you’d add Knight0 - Posted on: Mon, 12/07/2009 - 2:49pm #236428
QHaynes20He wont choose Kentucky. I think he’s looking at Florida or Kansas
U can also take SU off the list…he said he does not like cold weather.

ChosenOneParticipantGood observation.

MagikKnickParticipantYeah, I was just saying….I dont think he’ll choose Kentucky either
0 - Posted on: Mon, 12/07/2009 - 3:11pm #236436
gatorheelsParticipantWhy won’t he choose Kentucky? Wall, Evans, Rose…all top 5 picks. I think Knight would like to be a top 5 pick. Coach Cal can help him reach that goal. That being said would a Knight & Bledsoe backcourt be effective? Would Knight like playing alongside Bledsoe?
Florida aleady has two small guards in Boyton & Walker. I’m not sure how Knight would fit in.
I’ve never seen Knight play before. Who does he play like? Strengths/Weaknesses?

JNixonParticipantKnight will go to Florida. I have a feeling.
He plays like Chauncey Billups. He has the potential to be a post-up PG, as well as a good shooter and slasher. His 1st step is very good. He’s not as athletic or quite as quick as Rose, Jennings and Wall, but he’s a better natural PG than all of them. He’s also going to be a big-time defender. I like his game alot, very few weak spots.

td8118ParticipantAgreed definitely thinking Florida because hes in state and could get solid coaching there….if FL has any competition i would say its with Kentucky just because of Coach Cal’s sucess with PGs, but hes going to FL…..He is going to be interesting to watch because he is different then the hyper athletic combo PGs weve seen over the years and is more natural….I actually think he is the type of player thats game translates better to pro because he seems better suited for a halfcourt post up offense, like him alot
