Bol Bol Out For Rest of Season and Declares for Draft

Well Bol Bol's college career is over as he will be out for the rest of the season with his foot injury and has decided to just rehab. He also declared for the draft today. Should go in the top 5.

I personally wouldn’t Draft Bol Bol at all

He’s rail thin, doesn’t look he’ll add much weight if any, and he’s already showing signs he’s injury prone

I know everyone loves a Unicorn, but kid looks like a Llama IMO

Bust potential through the ceiling

Shades of Sam Bowie? An

Shades of Sam Bowie? An uber talented unicorn like Ralph Sampson even fell apart.

He was down to 5 on my last couple of internal mock drafts. I might move him down to 7 or 8.

He has the skills and talent but injuries (especially foot injuries and big men) are scary.

Now my top five will probably feature Zion and RJ and 3 deep-sleeper picks.

Bol Bol has the same injury

Bol Bol has the same injury Embiid & Marc Gasol had. Both guys came back without any effects. But unlike Embiid & Gasol there were already concerns about Bol Bol's mobility. Kid seems to have a solid understanding of the game. He Could become the best player in 2019 draft or a guy with promise, that fails to deliver on it. What Gm will be willing to take a chance on him? I'm rooting for him! Becuz I enjoyed watching him play.

It's a weak draft, he's

It's a weak draft, he's definitely worth the risk as a top 5 pick. If you had a young Brook Lopez (the 3 point shooting, 4 rebounds a game version, not the all star traditional post scorer), you would take him top 5 in this draft. Bol will be at least as good as Lopez is today from what I've seen, mobility, range, size and rim protection. Lock him in. Ideal for Boston if the Kings pick is in range.
