The Trade would look something like:CJ McCollum, Al Forouq Aminu, and Ed Davis to Cleveland

    Kevin Love to Portland

The trade works for Cleveland because Love was never a good fit. They get  an excellent up and coming 2 guard to compliment Irving which allows them to let JR Smith to walk and although they don’t get the same talent in the front court, they add more versatility and don’t lose much production of any. It works for Portland, because, in a small market there are 2 ways to get stars. You can draft them, which The Blazers have done a nice job at, or you can trade for them if you have the assets. Kevin Love would be a nice fit for the Blazers, because they run a flow offence that can really feature a stretch 4 ( think Dalas with Dirk). Plus as the featured front court player he will get back some of the numbers from his Minnesota days. And as I said before Portland has set themselves up with depth to give 3 for 1. The one other interesting thing about this deal would be that both CJ, and Love would be headed home. CJ is from Canton, Oh. And Love from Lake Oswego, Or. That’s significant because both teams feel like they can hang onto those players long term.

Not sure what will happen. Just an inersting thought from a hardcore fan. Let me know what you think.
