IknoBall12ParticipantI’m absolutely hating what under in Brooklyn right now. I had real high hopes for this squad before the season and although I didn’t like the Jason Kidd hire I still felt the team would be very good. But what a horrible start to the season. I mean they won’t even sniff the playoffs and everyone stays hurt. We don’t have the luxury of sitting KG and Paul on back to backs. I hate to say it but I think 1 of the biggest problems is my favorite player deron Williams. He’s been injured and playing passive aggressive this year and that’s just not gonna cut it. He needs to be he Dwill who took over games in the playoffs for Utah against the lakers. Joe Johnson has actually played very well so far. KG also is being to pass first. I’ve noticed the decline in the past couple of years but he just looks like another player out there right now. The guys don’t seen to recognize kids as a coach and it just frustrating. Any thoughts?

BogDon_KryptParticipantTheyre like the Knicks. They settled their line up with a bunch of old players who are too far past their prime. Also paid DWill way too much and Joe Johnsons contract is one of the worst in the league. They also traded away all future picks, so this teams future could be in trouble for a few years. I think they will improve but may not even make it past the first round of the playoffs.

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantThis team mortgaged their future (they don’t have any first rounders til, what, 2019?) to win NOW. And they aren’t doing it. I think they still have plenty of time to put it together, but they need to show some urgency in doing so. Also, KG has been playing like crap this season. They need to define their roles and quickly. The one thing they DO have going for them is that Mikhail Prokhorov (spelling?) uses the unlimited money code as an owner. So they may be able to buy their way out for a little bit.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThe issue with this team is exactly what everybody thought it would be.
Injuries.

For_Never_EverParticipantWhat is up with D-Will ? He had the off season to heal his injuries. I didnt know he had anything really serious. The guy has been talked about being hurt the past few years now. Is he one of those guys that is never healthy now ?

jwall1ParticipantI was never a fan of this team.. Three years ago, they would be good, but D-Will has been disappointing, Johnson has one of the worst contracts in the NBA, Pierce and Garnett are old, and Lopez is 7 feet tall and cannot rebound the basketball. Oh and ontop of it, they hired Jason Kidd as a coach, who has absolutely no experience as an NBA coach…

KHAM83ParticipantSweet thing for Hawks that they have the right to swap 1st rounders with the Nets this year. Bitter news for the Nets is that the lower pick they receive are owed to another team.

For_Never_EverParticipantYeah, I’m curious and been trying to guess where the Celtics picks lands around too.

TallmanNYCParticipantGarnett’s TS% is 34%. That is terrible and much worse than he did last year. Also they have injuries. The team is deap so it can still compete with half the starting lineup and sixth man out, but they certainly aren’t going to beat the 9 and 2 Trailblazers without their starters.
I think they turn it around.

samosasParticipantYou’re telling me an arrogant Russian bilionaire can’t get an NBA team to the title game? Well, color me nonplussed. WTF did people think was gonna happen? Deron Williams is getting paid now because he was drafted #3 when he came into the league. He hasn’t ever been a winner, but he has a good record of getting good (hall of fame?! coaches fired). Cut bait, Mr. Vodka, this team is dirt.

TRC1991ParticipantI don’t know how much longer the Jason Kidd experience will last. This team isn’t getting production from anyone besides Lopez
