valentineFinally my bobcats get a win. Bismack had a great game 8 pg 13 reb 7 blocks he was active and caused every raptor to second guess there shot. His offensive game is terrible eddy curry cold make more 3s than Bismack could hook shots. Him and AntDavis in the backcourt would be a terror

meirmeir13I would draft Doron Lamb and quickly get rid of DJ. If that doesnt happing Reggie Williams could provide some scoring or find a hidden Gem in the D league

RUDEBOY_ParticipantIts going to be very interesting if Charlotte gets the 1st pick and Drummond doesnt come out…..Local media might force them into taking local product Harrison Barnes ..And Jordan has a history of trying to bring UNC guys to his teams…Plus they might say they already have a defender in Bismack and dont need another 1 in Davis..
But Davis is the best defensive big name prospect i’ve seen since Pat Ewing..And remember people also questioned Ewing’s offensive game…And Ewing averaged 20 pts in his rookie season..I think any team not picking Davis number 1 will regret it….

EuroBallParticipantThe Guy will be a monster in three years. He had a chance at a triple doube last night early 3rd quarter he had 6, 10 and 7. Then he sat for like 12 straight minutes and returned around the 4 minute mark in the 4th. Bismack is Ben Wallace on Defence with a chance to be like Serge Ibaka on offense. Charlotte should get The Dream to work with this guy the sky is the limit with him.

JoeWolf1Assuming they don’t get a top 2 pick…If they did, I think they’d go Davis
I think Barnes or Lamb would be a good fit. Gerald Henderson was actually looking pretty good early in the year, but if he can’t stay healthy, he can’t do them much good.
Barnes would be a better fit IMO because of his ability to play some minutes at the 3 spot also. Charlotte’s weak in a few areas and having Barnes could give them 6’8” 2 guard which would add size to their front court or they could slide him to the 3 with Walker and D.J. for small ball.

HaleParticipantIs Davis really a better defensive prospect then Oden was? Or Howard? Or Duncan? Or Emeka Okafor? Or Tyson Chandler? Or Shaq? Or Mourning? There have been a lot of big name bigs who can play D since Ewing.

Mr. 19134ParticipantYes Anthony Davis is really a better defensive prospect then all of them and it’s because of that he will go first regardless of who get’s the pick. Him and Biyombo would be nice to see play together and Davis has more offensive ability then people realize I think he could average more next year as a rookie then Kemba is averaging right now.
Also Austin Rivers probably fits the Bobcats the best.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantDwight Howard & Tyson Chander never played in college..Shaq,Oden,David Robinson,Marcus Camby and Duncan were needed for their offense also..But coach Thompson said any offense from Ewing was a plus..Thompson said he wanted Ewing to focus more on defense…Thats what coach Cal wants Davis to mostly focus on..Thats why i believe alot of folks are going to be surprise to see Davis scoring alot in the pros..

Seeing as how Charlotte is worse defensively (and also offensively though that is both unsurprising and beside the point) with Biyombo on the court than off it for the season and had a -4 in their win over the Raptors, I’m wondering what your definition of terror may be. Toronto got 46 points in the paint yesterday barely better than their 29th ranked 47.7 opponents points in the paint. It wasn’t Utah’s 70, but a big number nonetheless. Ideally, a team would want to be where Dwight Howard has the Magic 35.5. Those Piston teams were in the mid-30s through the years. Protecting the rim isn’t the same thing as blocking shots, but it sure does convince a lot of people.
"Thats what coach Cal wants Davis to mostly focus on..Thats why i believe alot of folks are going to be surprise to see Davis scoring alot in the pros.."
"Focus" has not prevented Davis from being able to take college centers off the dribble when he has tried to do so. It has not made his jump shots rim out.
"But Davis is the best defensive big name prospect i’ve seen since Pat Ewing..And remember people also questioned Ewing’s offensive game…And Ewing averaged 20 pts in his rookie season..I think any team not picking Davis number 1 will regret it…."
That is right up there with the Hassan Whiteside and Bismack Biyombo nonsense of past years.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantBTPH,Being Grouchy again..lol..
Didnt i write Coach Cal doesnt want him playing like a guard?

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantDavis has tried to take centers off the dribble, and it has not gone well. He has taken jump shots with little success. Just because it is not a every time down the court occurence doesn’t mean when he does try to be a part of the offense that the result shouldn’t matter.
