Bryant24Participantwho will have the better rookie year Johnny Flynn or Brandon Jennings?
johnny Flynn is a good point guard who can score and distribute the ball.
rookie stats:(my opinion)
11.1ppg
7.5apg
Johnny flynn has Al Jefferson top 3 center when healthy with great post moves and Kevin Love prove he can score in the nba.Brandon Jennings is a point guard woth elite speed and passing abilites who can score with the best of them.
rookie stats:(my opinion)
12.1
8.7apg
Brandon Jennings can explode for high scoring nights with his speed in the open court and when he is hot his jumper is on and he can create buckets for his teammates. He can throw alleys to Amir Johnson,Joe Alexander, Hakim Warrick and give it to Micheal Redd for the open three. My pick: Brandon Jennings

MagikKnickParticipantEveryones gonna say Brandon Jennings…I got my money on J. Flynn
my prediction
Flynn: 15.6ppg, 7.5apgJennings: 11.5ppg, 7apg
Keep in mind..Scott Skiles started Luke Ridnour over Ramon Sessions…what makes you think he wont start Luke Ridnour over Brandon Jennings. Stupid? Yes Possible? Yes
And on the other hand you got J Flynn competing with Chucky Atkins and Bobby Brown for playtime….

jojososaParticipantJennings proved he shuld start in summer league (even tho summer league doesn’t really mean much) if they thought he couldn’t lead this team y wuldnt they simply sign sessions back, I def. think jennings will have a better year, but johnyy will also make some noise this year

FUTURE GMParticipantJohnny flynn will have a better year stats wise because he’ll start from day one plus dude stays in the lane. b.jennings never drives to the hoop all he does is shoot jumpers. and b.jennings has to compete with ramon sessions

butidonthavemoney7+ assists may be a lot for a rookie.
I’ll say Flynn will average 12 and 5. Jennings will average 10 and 4.

dwat4444Participantya most rookie point only average 5-6 assists, i mean do you really think their as good a westbrook cuz magicknick you just said better numbers than his. This is a weak draft. These are both project guys. Predictions
Flynn
9ppg-5.1 apg in 28 min.
Jennings
8ppg-5.5apg-in 25min.
That’s realistic for players who are projects. The only players with the ability to score double figures are griffin, harden, evans, and Curry because their nba ready players while no one else is.0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/10/2009 - 2:38pm #198862
bluedevils12ParticipantJennings i think will be more flashier and probably be on sportscenter more but i think flynn will have the better impact and stats
