Lotto StudParticipantComing into the 2009 Draft I thought Tyreke Evans would have been picked to either Memphis or Oklahoma City at 1 point & time. Which team do you think would have been a better fit for him than Sacramento?
2009
Memphis-Conley, Mayo, Gay, Randolph, Gasol…….Evans
Oklahoma City-Westbrook, Sefolosha, Durant, Green, Collison……Evans

apb540ParticipantMemphis. For the type of team they have, I will take Westbrook and KD over Reke and KD. And yes, I know that they could of had both Westbrook and Reke but that shit wouldn’t of worked.

SteroidParticipantThat is a hard choice.. Both teams already have enough ball stoppers. I guess I’d have to say memphis.

darko4prezParticipantYeah, the key is he’s not a great fit on either squad, but better on Memphis. I wonder how much Memphis regrets trading Love.

Lotto StudParticipantJust think about Evans & Mayo backcourt duo

SwatLakeCityParticipantI actually think OKC would have been the better fit. That backcourt would have been almost impossible to stop Westbrook, Evans, Durant. The only problem is that all three of those players demand the ball inorder to be effective. (Westbrook to an extent)
In Memphis he would have had to play the point or play off the bench behind Mayo, I don’t think that would work too well. He can play point but not regularly, he’s better off being a two guard.
The Kings are also a good fit for him, although they got rid of Kevin Martin, or else it would have been a mess.
