Im Your FatherParticipantHaha, I dunno about second round K.O. He says "99 percent of your fan’s wear heels," but I thought the LL Cool J "99 percent of your fans don’t exist" line was pretty clever response.
I’d go with No Vaseline though.
*On a side note, don’t you think these hip hop topics should go in the off-topic forum?

JNixonParticipantTakeover was vicious. It’s the best I’ve heard.
Also, it’s not classic or anything, but 99 Problems by T.I. against Lil Flip was poweful for "recent" hip-hop beef. Lil Flip made no more music after that.

Mr. 19134ParticipantI love all them songs…2nd Rnd K.O. is classin and it;s easier to take somebodies diss and flip it then it is to think of it in the first place so Canibus’ line was better…Plus Cani said a line in that song that I always think of when I see LL>..He said "You’re dripping with wax juice and you can’t get it off!…." haha that’s great…
Eminem-Can-I-B!tch was the cleverest diss song I ever heard.
Chamillionaire had some brutal diss songs to Mike Jones who I think was dissed harder then anybody by Cham….
Cam’ron- Curtis is classic and was on his way to beatin Fiddy had Juelz and Jones not chumped out…
My favorite and the coldest too me is Jay-Z Takeover…He crushed Nas’ whole career in only 16 bars then a few years later Nas signs with Jay which is a definite concete of Defeat in my book…Imagine Ja Rule signing to Shady or G Unit…Yeah…
Oh and What Jay did too Prodigy in that song wasn’t even right…Plus that Doors sample went hard…

Im Your FatherParticipantI realize there is some debate over who won, but Jay-z definitely did not "crush Nas’s career." Nas was doing awfully before that and the battle rejuvenated his career.
Also, while it isn’t universal, the general consensus seems to be that Nas won the battle.
I guess you could say Jay-z won the war though, since Nas did sign with Def Jam.

Mr. 19134ParticipantEther was hard i remember when I first heard it I thought it was over…But as the year went on I think Takeover stood the test of time better…Plus Ether was a lot of word play and fabricated events…Nas didn’t really say anything in that song that could be proved to have actually happened. Jay on the other hand in only one verse outlines Nas’ whole career and the part about Jay showing Nas his first tech was actually backed up by a bunch of people…"That’s a one hot album every ten year average.:" haha…I disagree tho because I Am… and It Was Written were both hot…Nastradamus was embarrassing
