valentineWhat do you think is the greatest ever pass?
I saw the Ben Simmons butt-pass again…and it was so ridiculous that I don’t even know if it was intentional.
But my favourite all time is the Isiah Thomas Bounce-Pass Alley-Oop for originality, degree of difficulty, and showyness!
If you’re more tech-savvy than me…include the link!

dcaseParticipantMichael Adams double behind the back pass. He has done it multiple times. I can’t post the link, but there is video footage of the double behind the back pass to Pervis Ellison when on the Bullets and another one to Larry Johnson when on the Hornets.

BEARDED-DRAGONParticipantwow… i dont even thing thats an elbow pass, i think its a shoulder pass… looks like he bounces it up and pushes it with his shoulder… arguably better the jwill’s elbow pass. it looks like there may be elbow pass at 1:15, though its so grainy it may just be a regular old wrap-around behind the back pass. either way, pistol pete is insane. damn i wish ricky rubio was living up to those impossible expectations…

SandLol that was a sick mix.
The full court ten pin bowling pass was ambitious to say the least.

T RexYeah that one was my favorite, and I’ve incorporated that on the playground, except for the NASTY side-spin he also put on that pass.
Underhanded full court passes have top spin on the ball. Put enough top spin on an underhanded pass, and it will drop fast down to the ground.
Just like in tennis, people can hit the ball somewhat high and still have it drop in-bounds because of nasty top-spin. That’s what lobs are in tennis, just nasty top-spin on high shots.

T RexI recommend all of you try incorportating the underhanded full-court pass in your basketball playing. They make for a great inbounds pass, and because underhanded = topspin, it just takes a little flick, and never needs to rise above waist level, and the ball will whip down the court.
the other Maravich pass I’d recommend is the one where he dribbles the ball high in front of him, kind of baiting the defender to try to get it. This high dribble in front of him allows him to keep his dribble, if he needs it, or he can tap it to a teammate, or he can grab the ball and shoot it. Of course, you can also do a fake bat/tap pass before doing any of the above moves with it.

T RexThe pass at 3:07 is an awesome one too. I can do it, I’ve just never tried it in a pickup game.
two handed chest pass thrown horizontally.
