Ben McLemore

Is this the year Ben McLemore breaks out? Will Dave Joeger be the coach to maximize his potential? Or will he be shipped out like all Kings picks eventually do?

My guess...

If Ben somehow finally gets it he will get paid and stay with the Kings as he is a RFA but if he hasn't pulled it together by the midway part of the season he will probably be moved for a pick if the Kings are smart...

I would like to see him on of these 3 teams if they can get him for a reasonable price in the off season or for a cheap trade price:

Detroit- I could see Stan Van G turning him into a J.J reddick type player.

Pelicans: As he could work with AD and still have a fighting chance to earn a starting spot.

Minesota off the bench as he would be a nice fit with Kriss Dunn and the T-wolves as they will be super athletic and Thibs may work his magic with Ben.

What they would trade I don't know as it would either have to be a protected pick or a role player at this point and time due to Bens current value.

Good points, although I don't

Good points, although I don't see him fitting in with NO because he would clash for mins with their current 3-point shooter Buddy Heild. I feel Minesota would be a stretch too because of Zach LaVine being thier safe spot at SG and would clash with Wiggins for getting touches. I think a trade for a pick is also possible like you said, well see if any teams have him on their radar.

I've always defended Ben and

I've always defended Ben and will continue to. I still think he is a very promising athlete because he has unbelieveable mechanics shooting the ball and is still filled with potential. I would like to see the Kings keep him but I think they will want to move on and continue to rebuild their roster with younger talent. If the Kings don't sign him, good landing spots would include Detroit, Charlotte, or Memphis because they all need a 3-point shooter.

So to answer the question, unfortunatley it dosen't look like a break out year, therefore go to a team where he will actually fit in and start to preform at the level I believe he is capable of.
