BigChamp12ParticipantIn a must win game for Baylor, they lead by 8points 1min into the 2nd half….Cory Jefferson had a monster 1st half and probably got the attention of a lot of NBA scouts as he went 8-10 from the floor on several big time slams, a couple of post moves and 2 rare 3pointers. He hadnt made a 3 all season but went 2-2 in the first half. Do any of you think CJ can be a first rounder in this years draft?
6’10-6’11 with elite athleticism and a huge swingspan…

theprophetParticipanti don’t know. i think he has a shot of making the first round late but also has a chance of not even getting drafted if he declared this year. he has a tough decision.

BigChamp12ParticipantI already thought that he would be in the NBA before today. i think there’s some teams that may give him a chance in the late first round. But I also think another year for him will be great. He has a nice ceiling and already has the size and athleticism for NBA. Those 3s he made today were only an indication that he is capable of adding that dimension to his game, which is always a plus.

HaleParticipantOdds are far less likely he’d go 1st round next year, he should enter this season and go in the 30-40 range.

llperezHe’s looked fantastic. This baylor team is too talented to not make the tourny. Watching them take it to Kansas just shows how wide open this season is. I mean nobody has looked phenomenal.

PTBasketballParticipantI was about to make a tread about him but you beated me to it.
Got to admit I didn’t expect this type of exhibition from him, and I’m definatelly interested in hearing what someone who follows this Baylor team has to say about his floor/ceiling and his performance over the season.
Judging BY THIS GAME ALONE, I think he would be at least a serviceable player in the league with him being athletic and having a lot of strenght.

Sewok15ParticipantHe has an NBA body and has shown a great deal of potential this year. Miles Plumlee was a first rounder so I don’t see why Cory Jefferson can’t be. He can remove any doubt by coming back next year and continuing to improve but I think he already had a shot at the end of the first round before tonight.

HaleParticipantWhile we are on the subject of Jefferson…can someone please explain to me how someone who was 0/7 in their career from beyond the arc coming into today’s game is 3/3 tonight?

BigChamp12ParticipantIm lost on this one too… His shot didnt look bad at all. He was shooting it in rhythm with decent form and backing up as if he knew they were in.
