torontoraptors10ParticipantIt’s rumored that the Raptors are open to moving center Andrea Bargnani, who has been anything but an impact player since entering the league in 2007 as the No. 1 overall pick.
They reportedly want to build the team around rookie big-man Ed Davis and second-year guard DeMar DeRozan.

For some reason, I feel happier to be a Raptor fan but the secret is out and the whole league knows it, BARGNANI CAN’T REBOUND and DIDN’T REGISTER A BLOCK IN WHOLE MONTH OF FEBRUARY
I think Bargnani would be really effective in Orlando playing the PF position, but I don’t know what the Raptors could get from the Magic.
What could the Raptors possibly get and what team could fully use Bargnani effectively? What do you all think?

kanyedabestParticipantBargnani has been the biggest buzz kill to watch as a raps fan, hes so frustrating……. god i hope we get rid of him

Scottoant93ParticipantThis a good thing. Bargnani is the least of raptors worries, and Bargs leaving those him a favor, maybe he goes to another team with a REAL coach and can develop(if he doesn’t it’s his fault). He is a natural pf, not a center you don’t see dirk playin center. He will be good for a team with a legit center so he can strech the floor shooting 3s. Raptors fan should be grateful that he atleast he wants to be there, unlike others who just leave.

Snubs15ParticipantI really like this rumour. Its almost too good to be true, which is making me beleive that it isnt true. lol. But like guy above just said, Bargnani is a 4 and would be alot more effective at that position. If he goes to another team with a good center it would be beneficial for him and the raptors. I feel like hed do good in Milwaukee, Orlando playing alongside Bogut, or Howard.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantBargnani and Bayless for Thad Young and Lou Williams in the off-season…we’ll throw u Hawes too if you give us the pick from Miami…

HotSnotParticipantBargnani would get eaten alive by PF’s… why does everyone keep saying he’s a 4? David West, Griffin, KG, Amare, Boozer, Bosh etc etc… Barg’s can’t guard any of those guys. Most Centers are slower and don’t have the offensive skills of the PF crop. Thankgod the Raps finally want to trade him. He’s not even a starter on a championship team. Barg’ s should be your first big off the bench. Lamar Odom is a better player and he comes off the bench. Flip him to Minny for their 1st rd pick if they’ll take him. They have the cap space.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantPlus Lou Will would be a nice replacement for Barbosa and Bayless, leaves the Rape room to draft best Pg or C( Irving,Knight, Kanter or Jonas V )…the Sixers would use Bargnani and Bayless off the bench or possibly start Bargs at Pf and slide Brand to Center or let him become the 6th man, I see Bayless in a BJ Armstrong role backing up Holiday…Collins was the architect for the Bulls lineup, I’d like to get a few pieces to complete the roster…the way I see it, Holiday and Bayless can be like a Ron Harper/ BJ Armstrong combo at Pg, Iguadola is a Scottie Pippen clone at Sf, Brand can be like Horace Grant at Pf, Bargnani can try his hand in a Kukoc Sf/Pf role( I’d prefer Gallinari but hey) and a free agent Center like Joel Pryzbilla to play a Luc Longley role at C…getting a great scorer at Sg and elite rebounder to play around Bargnani, Brand and Pryzbilla may be difficult but trades for Nick Young and Luc Richard Mbah Moute can be made using Evan Turner and Marresse Speights…Turner for Nick Young and draft pick is reasonable, Speights for Mbah Moute is also reasonable, the real question is can Thaddues Young, Lou Williams and Spencer Hawes net a versatile forward like Gallinari or Bargnani (plus fillers like Bayless and/or a big man…)

mikeyvthedonParticipantI love it! Honestly, I would take that trade in a second if I were the Raps. Thaddeus Young would be really nice here, playing hybrid 3/4. Lou Will would basically be a more experienced quicker version of Bayless, and I am sure Hawes would get PT somewhere. Andrea would be a nice scoring kick for you guys, and I am sure Bayless would be productive in that Lou Will type role. Still, I think Thaddeus Young has a bright future and really would love to see him as a Raptor. That would be an ideal trade for the Raps, I am not sure if you guys would love it though. Andrea and Elton Brand? It might work out alright, but their could be major issues on defense.
