You can’t put too much stock in a preseason game as it is an entirely different environment, but growth from game to game is always a nice development. With a majority of the preseason left to play, it will be on head coach Doc Rivers to make sure he puts Lee in spots where he will be most comfortable.btr

Jason Terry is much more comfortable in the sixth man role, so there is no need to mess with that. Besides him, there are really no other pure guards that you can count on as Dionte Christmas and Jamar Smith are far too unproven to warrant meaningful minutes at this juncture.v sfsa

Now, Allen says, he can use this frustration for motivation when he faces Boston for the first time on October 30th.

On the flip side, Martin’s camp couldn’t be happier. He was playing good soldier during preseason, but he had previously made no secret of the fact that he wanted no part of yet another rebuild, and landing in OKC puts him on the best team he has ever been on in his career. The fact that OKC also got promising rookie Jeremy Lamb in the deal is a testament to the brilliance of Thunder GM Sam Presti. The Thunder got a difference maker this year, as well as a potential replacement long-term should the team decide not to invest in Martin at the end of the season.

The wing who has caught everyone’s eye in Toronto this preseason is Anderson. Anderson has been solid at both ends of the court and on a team with playoff aspirations, there is no room to sacrifice victories in order to provide playing time to rookies.
