DunksNJordans23Participant“Andrew Wiggins will sign Tuesday at around 12:15. He will not hold a press conference type ceremony. Just classmates, family and friends” Rob Fulford twitter @rfulford
Finally Mister Wiggins will be choosing a destination. So happy for this kid. He stood strong through all the all-star games when people were asking him where he was going and took his own time to make a choice. Best of luck to the young man.

aarondsonixfanParticipantI really think he is going to go to FSU. I don’t know why, but I feel like he is going to follow the family tradition

DunksNJordans23ParticipantMy two cents is he is going to FSU. His mother is coming in from Canada and I think I heard his father is coming now too but I could be wrong about his dad coming. I’m so impressed that he was able to stay so composed through out this process and not breaking down or giving in. I know I would not have been able to handle the press giving it to me 24/7.
80% FSU
100% Don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s his choice haha0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/12/2013 - 5:06pm #773082

rabidsnowmanParticipantHe really seems like the kind of kid who will do what mom and dad want him to do. Headstrong is not the word that comes to mind with this young man. Mom and dad want him to go to FSU. It seems that the only advantages UK has to offer him are a better shot at a title, and better players to practice against. Provided that money changing hands isn’t involved, these are the only two schools that I see having any real shot at landing the kid. He’ll obviously get far better stats at FSU as the majority of their offense would go through him. (although I hope he likes being double teamed, something he wouldn’t see at UK, as I just don’t see Julius Randle or either Harrison or James Young getting left open)
I’d bet he ends up at FSU.

MopgrassParticipantKentucky is getting ridiculous with how many great players they’ll have. Too much. North Carolina’s best players were a SF and PF and their best two new recruits are a SF and PF. They’re a bit clogged at SF.
It’d be nice to give Florida State some love, but if he picks them, pros might take that as him being afraid to compete at the highest levels. Kansas would be a smart. They lost McLemore and Withey. They can replace them with Joel Embiid, Andrew Wiggins… and Wayne Selden. That’d give him a Final Four shot and maybe solidify that 1st pick over Randle. Maybe.

omphalosParticipant@mopgrass; why would FSU indicate he’s afraid to compete at the highest level? If anything, FSU validates his willingness to compete at the highest level, because he’s going in with less help than his classmates and will be carrying more of a burden offensively.

theballerwayParticipantHes gonna go to Kentucky, because as well as the competition hell have at practice but also as he want have to have the whole spotlight. This shy away from the spotlight part of his make up is really interesting as he will be totally unable to avoid it no matter whre he goes

RafterParticipantSounds like Florida State to me, calling a quiet gathering of friends and family tells me that he won’t disappoint them by saying “I thought about this a lot and I’m joining the super team in Lexington” I could be wrong though but Wiggins seems like the kind of person who would value following in his family’s footsteps more than being part of the “best college team ever”.
