Specialt25ParticipantAndrew Bynum hyperextends right knee VS the Spurs.
Does anyone know how long a player sits out with this kind of injury?
It was on his surgically repaired knee .
Lakers are in trouble now without him.

EGbball3ParticipantI had the same type of injury for about 8 months and I eventually tore my mpcl tendon. (connected to the kneecap) I eventually had to have reconstructive surgery and replace my tendon. The time length is usually 4-6 months but, he may not need surgery and be back in no time.
