bobbybParticipantWhy does it seem to me that so many people think that he will sign elsewhere? If they didnt want him the could have traded him at the deadline. Why would they give him the extention in the middle of the year? Management was smart , make him earn his big payday. At the end of the day , The Suns can offer him the most and they will. Obviously there is no better team that he will be more succesful with.

ilike.panochasParticipantIf the Suns really wanted to keep Amare, they shouldnt have dangled him during trading deadline. Yes, he wasn’t traded, but he was also on the trading block, which is not a good message to send to someone who has a choice of becoming a free agent. To me, the Suns has not shown loyalty to Amare, and Im not sure that the Suns really want to keep Amare long term, considering how he has been on the trading block the last 2 years.

sc0rebuckets11ParticipantThe guy isn’t stupid, and will stay with Nash as long as he can.

fcb206Participanti agree with scorebuckets. the only thing separating Amare Stoudemire from the other dozen 6’10” guys who cant play defense is having a hall of fame distributor hand him the ball within five feet from the basket on every posession. He’s a total stud as a Second Banana, but pair him with a league average Point Guard and youre looking at an 18-8 player. as for free agent buzz, lets face it…Amare is an afterthought. hes the only guy in a loaded class whos never been the best player on his own team. throwing money at Amare Stoudemire without a stud point guard is like buying a stainless steel washer/dryer combo when you dont have any clothes to wash. my money is on him resigning with the suns for less than he ever imagined. That said, I’m prepared for anything this offfseason. I could see the knicks signing him and Joe Johnson and still losing 45 games. should be a fun summer.

OhCanada-ParticipantHe averaged 13 9 before his injury as well…Now not only is Nash contributing to his stats but his legs are not good long term investments and we saw how useful they really are only 3 bosrds in an elimination game

bkb77ParticipantAmare has been quoted of saying he loves playing for d’antoni, it just so happens hes the knick coach & a guy by the name of Lebron happens to be a FA aswell who may go there so I see lebron, amare & the tony parker rade that has been rumored w the knicks shipping out chandler or gallinari & duhons expireing contract & future 1st. I know alot has to happen & I am not a knick fan, but i do see this happening.
