bobbybParticipantI cant understand why the Suns would give an extention to Nash if they werent gonna resign Amare. It is like have Stockton without Malone. I cant think of two players today that need each other more. Nash needs a finisher and Amare needs a set up man. I know Amare sux at defense but losing him would be devasting for the offense.

the I in winParticipantLouis Amundson was great last year for the suns when amare was out, he is isn’t replacable but nash can make something out of nothing.

Russell0WestbrookParticipantnash need amare more cuz he will get more chances to score by himself without nash. Amare can play in any system and with anybody nash wasnt as good before he had amare, marion, and that great system he was a pretty good guard and dallas didnt fall off without him whereas the sun couldnt even make the playoffs last year without amare. he will get his chance to show people he is a great offensive player without nash

Clyde-Glide10Stockton and Malone?
Anyway. The Suns need to get value. To me, Nash is a great PG who needs more players to pass around AND a legit backup who can take some PT off him for rest. To me, The Suns need to somewhat look to start over.
I would do these deal right now

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yzw9t62The Last one would probably involves either a trade exception, draft picks or cash

dmo21Participanti think amare needs nash more. in the suns system nash could play with anybody and get them 10 easy points, i dont see amare finding anyone that can create like nash to play with next. This is the same sitaution as cp3 and chandler. Chandler looked great finsishing easy baskets and alley oops, and then he gets traded and cant score any more but cp3 isnt struggling.. hmm

thetruthParticipantamare is a good player and all. but he cleary needs nash more than nash needs him. look at marion without nash. hows he doing . nash can make guys like bell, diaw look good on the court. with his passes, setting them up. when amare leaves phoeni for whereever he goes. he will find the road a little diffcult without nash.
