What would your all time team be? Here is mine:

    pg-Magic Johnson

    sg-Micheal Jordan

    sf-Larry Bird

    pf-Karl Malone

    C- Kareem Abdul Jabaar

    Unbeatable…

    My all time team

Isiah Thomas– Besides shooting, Zeke could do it all. He was clutch, he played defense and was Iverson, really before Iverson, but a better passer. Magic has more titles, but Isiah Thomas is the point guard I would want on my team.

    Micheal Jordan

LeBron James– Just fits any team in any situation. Rebounder, passer is the role he’d play on my team

Tim Duncan– Head and shoulders better then any other power forward ( Yes, he was a power forward)

Moses Malone– Your gonna laugh, but Moses to me is underrated. With Malone, Duncan and LeBron, I locked in the rebounds.

There would be no rebounds if you were playing Johnson Jordan and Bird

I would have the same team except I would have Hakeem Olajawon as my Center and Kevin Durant as my SF.

I might consider putting Dr. J on my team at PF as well but I am no quite sure what he was defined as during his time. PF or SF. I know it was one of the two but I’m not quite sure

    Two questions…..

You really don’t know what position 6-7 Julius Erving defined?

    Kevin Durant?

Kevin Durant has proven to be a great scorer. But thats just about it, he doesn’t do much else after that.

If were doing it by pick up players and put them at any position then im going with:

PG- Lebron James- Can play any position on the floor and play it well, too big for opposing PG’s

    SG- Michael Jordan- Nuff Said

SF- Scottie Pippen- Need defense I got enough Offense already

    PF- Dwight Howard- More Defense

C- Shaq Oneal- Possibly the most dominant player ever.

Now if it’s by position only:

    PG- Magic Johnson

    SG- Michael Jordan

    SF- Lebron James

    PF- Bill Russell

    C- Shaq Oneal

Smh that people can spell Kareem Abdul Jabaar but can’t get Michael Jordan right.

    Mine would probably look like…

PG: Johnson – provides vision etc.

    SG: Jordan – Enough said

SF: Larry Bird – Outside shooting and extra playmaking

PF: Tim Duncan – low post scoring and D.

C: Bill Russell – defensive anchor.

PG: John Stockton: He isn’t the all-time leader in assists for no reason. He’d fit perfect playing with other HOF’s where he wouldn’t even need to score, just set guys up. Great 3 point shooter as well.

SG: Michael Jordan: Obvious..athleticism, defense, clutch, sheer determination and competitiveness, scoring ability..basically everything.

SF: Julius "Dr. J" Erving: IMO he isn’t the best SF in history but can you imagine him and MJ on a fast break together?! Nastyyy! Plus he was a pretty good defender and rebounder because of his athleticism.

PF: Kevin Garnett: In his prime he was one of the most versatile big men ever. He could guard 1-5, pass, shoot, and get buckets down low. He’d also bring that mean streak.

C: Hakeem Olajuwon: I wanted to put Bill Russell but "The Dream" is my fav. big man of all time. That Dream Shake was poetry in motion and made other big men look straight stupid. Simply amazing on both sides of the ball.

Give me Magic, Michael, and Lebron at the 1st three spots and I dont really give a dam who is at the 4 and the 5, but as if those 3 wouldnt be unstoppable enough, give me Olajuwon and Shaq.

@BBknicks fan, Dr. J was before my time. I didn’t become interested in basketball until the late 90’s and he was long gone by then. I did not know how tall he was but according to the height you listed, he would definitely be playing the SF and replace Kevin Durant.

@Eric, Durant is more than just a fantastic scorer, he is also a great defender, a good rebounder, and just an overall great team player. A lot of potential.

And another thing Eric, If Durant is just a fantastic scorer then he wouldn’t have been on the USA team in 2010 and led them to a championship when no one thought they would win it all. That experience defined a lot and helped not only him become a better player but also others like Eric Gordon.
