WinterSoldierParticipantI was looking at draft history and I noticed most drafts had between 4-5 All-Stars in the draft, so I was wondering how many All-Stars do you think there will be in this Draft? An interesting note there has never been a draft in the last ten years, with less than two All-Star, Could this be the first?

mikeyvthedonParticipantI am guessing this one will most definitely have at least two All-Stars in it over time. You really never know who will develop into one, though obviously the top players are usually the top suspects. To me, Kyrie Irving, Derrick Williams and Enes Kanter all have potential to be All-Stars. Brandon Knight definitely could become one as well, if I had to guess 4 future All-Stars, they would be my choices.
In the second tier of players, those who might be right below being All-Stars, I would have Terrence Jones, Jonas Valanciunas, Kemba Walker and Tristan Thompson. Only time will tell, though, and guys like Vesely, Motiejunas and Jimmer certainly have upside that would probably lead some people to believe they could become All-Stars. But, like you said, usually only about 4-5 or so in any given draft. Sorry to say people, but at this point, I think you are dreaming if you believe Bismack Biyombo is a future All-Star. It could happen, but I do not like them odds.

WinterSoldierParticipantI think it will depend where they go to in determing if some of these player will turn into All-Stars, for example if Irving, and Knight go to the East It will be a while before either one has a chance at making it(they will be competing against Rose, Wall, Rondo, Williams, and possibly Chris Paul if he ends up there) Derrick Williams might take a while if he goes to Cleveland or Minnesota for them to get a good enough record for him to be considered for a All-Star game. What I’m saying is I believe whichever one of these kids get’s in the right situation will have the best chance. I’m not sure if any are mulitple All-Star quality yet.

NiceWithTheRockParticipantWell as we saw w/ Blake Griffin and Kevin Love the team record may not be a determining factor for all stars. So if Kyrie or Derrick come strong they can definitely be all stars early on.

OhCanada-ParticipantThey should make a new level of Allstar game for Bismack Biyambo after he plays up to his Lebron James/Dwight Howard potential.

AaronMck91Participantdepending on the teams they end up going to , Kyrie Irving, Derrick Williams, and Brandon Knight , Enes Kanter are future all stars. And if put in the right situation, i believe kemba walker and alec burks can too.
