redsoxfreak724ParticipantI’m curious to see what do you guys think WILL happen with all 3 of teams (not what SHOULD happen)?

Lemonade2345ParticipantFirst Team – Paul/Curry/Durant/James/Noah
2nd – Harden/Anthony/Griffin/Love/Al Jefferson
3rd – Wall/George/Duncan/A. Davis/Cousins
HM: Lillard/Aldridge (Either One), Tony Parker, Lowry (Very Back And Forth Wanted Him Instead Of Paul George) , Mike Conley/Randolph. Dwight Howard
Probably Get Negged Here But From Years Of What Ive Seen Figured Id Throw My Opinion Out There. I Myself As A Guard Had To Look At My Own List But Man Has It Been A Good Year For Bigs IMO. Tough Leaving Dwight Off but IMO all bigs listed had better year. Noah Gets My Vote As He’s Chicago’s Heart And Soul, Tied For League Lead in Triple Doubles, Pretty Evident Its His Best Year.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipant1st Team
G Chris Paul – missed some games but still the top guard in the league today
G James Harden
F Kevin Durant
F Lebron James
C Joakim Noah – Hard to figure out this spot, but Noah was so valuable to Chicago during the season2nd Team
G Stephen Curry – easy decision here
G Tony Parker – Like Noah his stats don’t stand out, but the best player on the best team in the league
F Paul George – slid towards the end of the season, but still the best player on the top team in the East and plays on both ends of the court
F Kevin Love (Minny didn’t make the playoffs but Love led all power forwards in PPG, RPG, and APG)
C Dwight Howard3rd Team
G John Wall
G Goran Dragic
F LaMarcus Aldridge
F Blake Griffin
C Al JeffersonAs good as Anthony Davis played this year his team was mediocre and he’s still quite young, he should be making plenty of these teams in the upcoming years

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantI had a hard time deciding between Love, Griffin or Aldridge for second team. Wouldn’t surprise me if Griff made it, also wouldn’t surprise me if two of them made it and PG ends up sliding to the third team.
I also had a real hard time with the second guard spot on the 2nd and 3rd teams. I feel like Kyle Lowry probably deserves a spot on the third team but I don’t think he’ll get it, he’s had a lack of attention by the media all season long. Wade might get a spot too but I honestly don’t know if he deserves it this year.
Parker’s 16.7 PPG and 5.7 APG might seem really low for 2nd team but Pops limited his minutes this year to under 30 a game. His per 36 min averages are 20.4 PPG and 7 APG. Curry, Wall, Lillard, Irving and the like all play about 36 mpg.

Lemonade2345ParticipantWho Would You Swap And Why? Only Swaps Could Be Dwight For Big Al And Parker For Duncan On My List. People Carmelo Just Came Off Best Year Of Career. My Arguement For Him Over George Is If You Swap Those Two I Think Pacers Dont Miss A Beat Or better with, knicks have same year or worst with george. Melo Deserves Third Team At Least This Year.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantI didn’t neg you but you might catch some flak for having three forwards and one center on your second and third teams, that’s not how All-NBA teams work.
Yeah Carmelo had a really good year but there a lot of terrific forwards in the league right now. Only 6 forward spots for 3 All-NBA teams, KD and Lebron have two wrapped up, PG plays better D than Melo and his team was much better, Griffin, Love and LA and AD all had fantastic seasons too. At least two people are going to be the odd ones out (and that’s not even including Dirk who put up 21.7 PPG while shooting 50-40-90).
Keep in mind that in 1994 Patrick Ewing didn’t even make the third team despite putting up 24.5 PPG, 11.2 RPG and 2.7 BPG for a 57 win team. Sometimes there are just too many great players at certain positions and some guys have to take a back seat when it comes time to hand out awards.
Also that CAPs lock thing you have going on in the last paragraph makes my head hurt, lol

KingGeorgeParticipantYou rate Paul George over Melo because George is the better defender but you put James Harden on your first team over Curry when Harden is arguably the worst perimeter defender in the NBA. No offense, but that makes no sense lol…

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantThe original question asked what you think WILL happen not what you think should happen so it makes perfect sense…

adumParticipantI know I’ll get negs but Kyle Lowry has been the best PG in the east this year.
i hope that the voters see this and give him some consideration for an All-NBA team.
