I like Porzingus but can someone tell T-Bagger that Porzingus at Over 7 foot has a FG% of ONLY 40% & from 3-point range he’s shooting 26% – He’s a good prospect….. But give him some time to develop, he’s got a long way to go….

Your comment here is a real embarrassment to the board.

"long way to go", what a joke. What a f’ing joke 90% of you guys are.

What a knob you are. You jumped the gun and cited his stats from his first 12 career games, even after he scored 29 points in the previous game. You never saw it coming, because you can’t predict future performance. You literally couldn’t identify the best prospect since LeBron even as his game started taking off.

Now his 3pt% is 34% just 3 games later, and you never saw it coming. You don’t know a sweet shooting stroke even when it drops 29 points it the 12th game of the year.

Long way to go, lol. You should have kept your trap shut for another game or two and avoided embarrassing yourself.

Porzingis already is a stud. He just doesn’t have Davis’ sneaker marketing machine behind him, yet. Porzingis merchandise is flying off the shelves like crazy now though, and nyc is the marketing capitol of the world, so get ready for madison ave to help clarify what a stud Porzingis already is.

Meanwhile, AD will keep making commercials with James Harden. Two birds of an overrated feather.

I remember when it was considered absurd to call DRussell a shooting guard, or to say he was no better than Andrew Harrison.

Not so much anymore. On any decent team DRussell would be in the dleague too.

so it’s just a big coincidence that your team and its rookie are hardly worth watching anymore.

I’m not sure where you got the idea that my team is the Lakers. I don’t really have a team as I pretty much watch and enjoy everyone. Lakers are probably in my top 10, but if I was forced to pick a team then it would be the Thunder due to having lived in Oklahoma about half of my life, so I’ll always have a small bias towards them I suppose.

You guys couldn’t be more irrelevant.

Even Porzingis’ 29 point game 3 games ago wasn’t enough to wake you the f up.

You had to wait until two games later when he dropped 24/14/7 blocks on your dumb azzes.

Now you’ll probably make this board more irrelevant by digging in your heals and doubling down on the

"dat white kid ain’t no Anthony Davis" jive.

Even more embarrassing the board is that most of you thought DRussell was a decent athlete.

      Just pathetic.

This year, the Pelicans are much worse with Davis on the court, especially defensively. Porzingis has the opposite effect on the Knicks.

Porzingis defensive rating 95, net rating +6

Davis defensive rating 107, net rating -7

Are you really that dumb comparing net ratings of a player on a 1-11 team to someone on a .500 team?  What did you think would be the results?

Cleanthony Early has a net rating of 51.4.  From that we can easily derive that he is the better player than Anthony Davis.

No, Early doesn’t get regular minutes. It’s called a statistical anomaly.

All AD has are excuses, while Porzingis is putting NY on his back and getting those Ws.

This year, the Pelicans are much worse with Davis on the court, especially defensively. Porzingis has the opposite effect on the Knicks.

Porzingis defensive rating 95, net rating +6

Davis defensive rating 107, net rating -7

By April the answer to this question will be as obvious as it is now, but in a completely different way.

Porzingis is arguably more valuable right now, and would arguably be better for NOP right now.

He can actually defend centers, is a better offensive rebounder, is better from 3, and could handle most of AD’s scoring load with more shots and opportunities in the paint.

And Porzingis wouldn’t cry on the bench during losses.

More guts, toughness, and leadership already.

Sometimes bad personal grooming gets mistaken for toughness. Nobody fears the brow except chicks.

I didn’t do the whole math, but 1 question has led to about -200 votes for Frank Stallone, lol

Pozingis may not be over AD, but damn I think he will be a real good one.

People need to believe that if an AD level prospect came around, they sure as heck wouldn’t let him slip under their smug noses.

What’s most embarrassing for them is letting a Gobert defensive doppleganger waltz right by them without them identifying the defensive talent, just one summer after Gobert broke out as a DPOY candidate.

Offensively, these chumps are trying to pretend that Porzingis won’t be able to get his shot off unless he has spazzy moves like Anthony Davis.

I’d bet 10 NBA gms would take Porzingis over Anthony Davis right now. Another 15 by January.

    Another 4 by February.

I can’t say about the Lakers.

20+ points in 3 of the last 4 games now. Starting to blow ADavis’ rookie year out of the water.

You might have seen it coming, after his 29 point game 4 games ago, but you didn’t…

Kristaps Porzingis: 20 Pts, 14 Rebs, 2 Blks @ Miami Heat. Extended Highlights – 11/23/15

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NS33MmYYr0s

Now if only Melo would start playing a little more efficiently, and getting PZizzle the ball more.

I’m as big of a Porzinigis believer as there is (besides Stallone/T-Rex I guess lol), but to even be comparing him to Anthony Davis after 15 games in the NBA is just beyond asanine. Let him play a whole season at least before we start comparing him to probably a top 3 player in the league.

And a little off topic here, but I hope Bill Simmons still does his annual trade value rankings. I’m actually interested to see where he ranks Porzingis and Towns.

Ignoring Porzingis is just assinine. People were calling Anthony Davis the best prospect since Durant when he was a rookie, or the summer before. Porzingis is already putting up better numbers than Davis as a rookie, and if Porzingis was a black American people wouldn’t be trying to shut down people who point out just how good Porzingis already is, and how historically high his upside is. Higher upside than Davis or Durant or Blake. Aldready a better defender than all of them, even Davis.

People should spend more time watching Knicks games, and less time telling people who watch Knicks games to shut up and wait a year before they say anything about the Euro guy.

You guys are missing the emergence of the next great NBA player, and it’s already happening.

The people demanding that Porzingis not be talked about for another year are the people who have no intention of actually watching him play, because they don’t want to accept that they totally slept on the best prospect since LeBron.

I’m a Knicks fan and watched every game this season. I really like Porzingis and I’m excited to see what he could become, but I’m not gonna annoint him the next great player, who warrants comparisons to perennial MVP candidates, with a 15 game sample size of stats. It’s certainly possible that he becomes one of the top players in the league, but it’s way too early to proclaim that right now.

I don’t blame you for not wanting to get your hopes up, but he’s already the best player on your team, and he’s only getting better, especially if Melo decides it’s better to give the ball up rather than get stuffed at the rim all the time.

He’s averaging 19 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 1.75 blocks in the last 4 games, as he’s figured out how to avoid foul trouble, and as the team has looked to him more offensively.

I said it before this 4 game hot streak, but if Porzingis can average 19-20 points per game and 10+ rebounds, he’ll be an MVP candidate.

Basically Porzingis has been playing like an MVP candidate these last 4 games, because his defense is that good, and because his ability to stretch the floor is that valuable.

He’s already safely a top 15 player, but the last 4 games he’s been even better than that. Much better.

Just don’t expect fantasy basketball fans to notice the little things like elite, non-flashy defense, or spreading the floor so that Melo can get buckets at the rim.

Let’s leave race out of this alright Frank. Porzingis is playing some great basketball. But as in most every other player it will soon end. Tyreke Evans had a great rookie season, now he’s a solid role player. It’s happened many other times as well. Zingis is playing great right now, but he’s not as special as you think he is.

IDK why you’d put a remark regarding race in there since that’s the exact reason why you’re account was banned last time.

Porzingis outplaying Anthony Davis’ rookie year, and pretty close when you compare Porzingis to Davis’ second year when Davis was 20 like Porzingis is now.

Of course, Porzingis is just getting started, and is already turning into a machine. Wait until the second half of the season

AD is in or very close to becoming a top 5 NBA player right now with a chance to be number 1 in a few years. But Porzingis looks like he may very well have a chance to be a top 5 player also within 5 years.

I love “Zing’s” potential. The sky is the limit IMO.
