valentineWho is more annoying? And is anyone as entertained as I am by both of their childish antics guarding each other tonight?

Magic JordanParticipantTo me it seems Players hate playing against Adams, I love watching him though. And I must say he is good at whatever he does to piss people off because he hardly ever gets caught, I never see what he does and he never retaliates. I love the way he composes himself after forcing others to lose their composure.

OhCanada-ParticipantThats the thing he doesnt do any sneaky bs that you cant see. No cheap shots or dirty play. From what Ive seen players get pissed off because he is naturally physical and has an endless motor. He never stops fighting for position and really doesnt mind moving his opponents out of his way. He makes you work.
Thats why they get pissed because usually they dont get that treatment and if they do they get pissed. You rarely see players mess with Randolph. Adams doesnt mind mixing it up with him which makes him annoying. No respect for the name on the back of the jersey.

GrandmamaParticipantThe thing is, he doesn’t do anything but give 110% every possession. Plus he’s a very good defender, and very active. That’s why they don’t like him. Tonight, you could see Blake going out of his way to do dirty sh*t to Adams. One time threw an elbow running down the court. Another time stopped while running down court so Adams would run into him. Once on a rebound, Griffin literally turned around and put his forearms into Adams chest to box him out. And finally, slapped Adams hand as Adams had his hand on Griffin’s hip during an inbound play. Griffin was really acting like a child tonight.

Hector_Reyes_8ParticipantGriffin always acts like that. He forces his way into opposing players’ arms and falls as if they stabbed his jugular.

vulture711ParticipantWas a great pick for them last year. Sure he isn’t super skilled, but its very athletic and is the New Reggie Evans when it comes to pissing the other guys off LOL

drk3351ParticipantBtw that Adams technical was just flat out ridiculous. He was just contesting the shot before the whistle was blown and landed after it blew. And there was no elbow or anything just cp3 flopping a bit.

OhCanada-ParticipantAdams is turning out to be a great pro. There are not many players that can frustrate whoever they are gaurding and bring the worst out of them. Whether he is matched up with Daniel Orton, or Dwight Howard he does what Steven Adams does. Very physical and very fundimental defender and he treats the court like it is his property. He is also very strong he went toe to toe with Randolph last series and he has been pushing around Blake Griffin in this game. Thunder fans should be greatful he is their prospect.

Magic JordanParticipantI agree, aside from being extremely strong he moves his feet very well and a pretty good athlete. Pair the fact that he mixes it up constantly and he is exactly the type of player the Thunder need. I have to assume he will be starting for them next year and hoping to play around 25 to 30 a game as long as he can stay out of foul trouble.

Rip255I’d say hes in the top 5 for size and strength in the nba. Only young too, he’ll only get better.

XYRYXParticipantGreat to see someone like Adams who hasn’t done much so far in his pro career getting respect for how he goes to work every time he steps on the court. A few months ago I checked NBA.com stats where you can see a clip from every rebound, block, steal or point a player makes and I was very impressed to see how many blocks and rebounds he got when he was given minutes. He moves very well defensively and runs immediately to the other basket as the 1st or 2nd player when possession changes creating space and distracting the defense.
Hopefully Brooks or whoever coaches next year gives him more minutes and OKC finds a way to throw some more lobs to him since this part of the game is basically non existent with Perk out there. Russ should be able the get 2 to 3 lobs per game with Adams on the PnR.
I’m glad the Thunder picked him last year. You can’t teach height but to have a 20 year old 7 footer with some hops, running and moving very well without the ball or on defense along with a strong body who IS WILLING to do the dirty work is a diamond in todays game.

XYRYXParticipantSidenote: Did you know he got a tattoo on his chest before he went to Pit? Aside from the fact that it is obviously a scratch from a big cat (Panther) underneath there is a gash resembles designs seen in the Pacific islands

TyroberParticipantReminds me a bit of Joakim Noah in the fact that players don’t get playing against him while giving 100% every play. I haven’t saw an awful lot of him until now, but once again the Thunder seemed to hit a homerun in the draft.

JoeWolf1I think they hit a home run with Adams. He’s had a pretty good post season for a 20 year old, and he’s a guy who I think is going to be a premiere defensive center in about two or three years.

Mr. ChicagoParticipantGo Thunder, I love the way Adams plays. he goes hard all the time, and not a ‘dirty hard.’ He is a great throwback center; and as was mentioned, I am definitely interested to see how his development plays out.
I am getting sick of seeing Chris Paul flop and overreact on fouls. His whole act is getting old. I am not taking away from his skills, as he is a wizard with the ball, but his whole attitude and mannerisms annoy me. I also very much dislike the way Blake griffin plays the game. He is a very dirty player. Just my opinion.
