I’m tired of seeing Houston, Golden State, and Oklahoma City every weekend from out the West. I think it’s time that Portland gets some of that ABC coverage exposure.

ABC’s job isn’t to show fairness by giving all teams equal exposure. It’s to generate ratings and revenue, and you only do that by broadcasting the games that will have the most national interest. No disrespect to Portland, but they just don’t have the same level of star power.

Who has star power on the Lakers roster? I recall them getting some of that action on ABC.

Like it or not, Lonzo Ball does. Not because of talent, but in terms of the hype train his dad created.

I don’t care who it is, if your team is trash, you aren’t supposed to get that action. The Knicks are historical as well and they haven’t received an ABC game with Porzingis who has more star power than Ball.

Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum are equivalent to John Wall and Bradley Beal, the only difference is the market.

This is kind of a chicken or the egg scenario, ’cause if the national media broadcasted more Blazer games then Lillard would be more well known and have more star power. He doesn’t ’cause he plays in a small market that gets little media love so be stays under the radar to the masses. Only real basketball heads understand how good he is.

Also, I wouldn’t call what Ball has "star power". It’s more like a sideshow curiosity at this point, and if he doesn’t DRASTICALLY improve his game soon then all those "fans" will turn on him.
