This is a really good series. James Johnson jawing at Simmons has been great. Love the passion Joel Embiid plays with. He obviously isnt comfortable with the mask and has been out of position on some layups/dunks and fouled Miami more times than he would without it but you can just tell this guy loves being in the moment. He really enjoys being booed. Haha. Miami has a great team concept and one of the best coaches in the league Eddie Spoelstra. Justin Anderson needs more minutes. His toughness will do wonders for them throughout this series.

While I wish the refs would let the players talk trash more than they have thats the game nowadays. Players get techs for exccessive trash talk and hostility. While I dont like that it is what it is and theres no sense in complaining about it. Other than that the refs are doing a great job here calling this game and most of the games I watched the refs have done well.

Ben…where are you?  I need three billboards or at least a ream of paper, a staple gun and a mile of telephone poles.

Has more fouls than points by the time I’m writing this. I don’t what the hell happened to him. He’s been a non-factor.

Ever since Whiteside got his large contract he has been a non factor. Hes useless they play better without him.

Might not be this year but theres no doubt in my mind this team will be winning a Championship if they stay healthy.

Embiid had a good game despite his clear rust and discomfort with the mask.

I still think this series is going 6 or 7 games. Definitely glad to see Embiid back on the floor.

Also Embiid has the craziest mask I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen goggles and I’ve seen masks, but I’ve never seen both together.

The Heat are playing like the old Pat Riley knicks teams and I’m proud that this young Sixers team isn’t backing down.

Yeah even as a long time Heat fan it’s impossible to ignore Wade hurling Justin Anderson by his arm. Justise Winslow stepping on Embiid’s goggle portion of his mask was just ridiculous. I wonder if he’ll get fined for it. I largely imagine he won’t.

It sucks because Spo is a great coach and I really like how Miami plays, but it’s so hard to root for them when they got guys like those 2 and Olynyk

It is hard. There was a long time where D-Wade was without a doubt my favorite player but plays like last night, him kicking Ramon Sessions in the groin, and his general attitude change as his career progressed changed my opinion. He’s undoubtedly a great player, unfortunately he’s also without a doubt a dirty complainer.

It seems Wade only picked up Mega complaining after/while he played with LeBron. LeBron is notorious for complaining but I suppose it does work when you are a star player. It is the way of the league and I doubt it goes anywhere anytime soon.

The Dirty stuff seems to have come later in his career. He is losing a step and can’t always use his game to put people in their place. He is ultra competetive and now when things aren’t going his way instead of stepping up his game he might just do something like try to yank a players arm out of socket. I have no idea how that is a double technical…Wade should have been tossed from the game. I suppose he knows based on his stellar reputation as a star player he can get away with stuff like that.

It is a shame to see though because a young D-Wade was one of my favorite players and now an aging Wade is one of my least favorite players.  Sixers in 5

So what you will about Brons complaining but he’s an absolute class act and a squeeky clean player.

That is what I said..LeBron flops and complains for a competetive advantage.

He has never resorted to doing anything dirty because he doesn’t have to…his play can still talk for him. Wade on the other hand is falling off. I’m not saying LeBron will become dirty when he loses a step. He is a class act on and off the court. His faults are minimal considering everyone in the world has been telling him how great he is since before he could legally drive.

He thinks he is coach and GM because he is allowed to think that. He has never played for a coach that has the resume and stones to stand up to him. Maybe Riley as team president in Miami was the closest thing. I love watching LeBron play and for someone who is constantly in the spotlight it is impressive how he has avoided any scandals.

If "The Decision" is the worst thing LeBron has ever done he has certainly has had one of the cleanest careers of any professional sports superstar.

I absolutely agree. Once Lebron came to Miami D-Wade started to complain constantly. He used to always get back on D, but he’ll often complain to a ref while his team’s forced to play 4 on 5 defense. You’re probably right that he started doing the dirty stuff once he lost a step, but it’s outrageous.
