    Memphis just traded for Josh Jackson for no other reason than they needed a 5th starter whose name started with J.

     Great trade for Grizzlies. Low risk, high reward. Carter would hardly get playing time beside Morant and Wright and Korver wasn’t in their plans anyway

     Potentially very nice defensively to have Crowder and Jackson in the lineup. Melton is ok too, good move.

    memphis got great value.  melton is a guy that has nba staying power.  jackson is functional and still has some potential.  the 2nd round picks are historically in the top 7. 

    man, phoenix really wanted to clear out some cap space i guess.
