bkb77ParticipantIt’s got to happen. Was Against it from the beginning but with Embiid’s Injury now you can’t stay at 3 and risk this guy pulling a Nerlens Noel and being benched for his 1st year. After a year of pure tanking you need to get a legit prize out of it and Wiggins or Jabari is that prize. Sixers have to suck it up now & fork over 3 & 10 if the Cavs will have that deal.

TenSecondTomParticipantWhat exactly do you think the Sixers will be doing next year? At best they finish in the bottom half of the 1-8 seeds and lose in the first round. Take the only player in the draft who could become the best player at his position 5 years down the road and continue to develop your players with or without him for the first year. Realistically, none of these players will have a LeBron or Durant type impact so it doesn’t matter whether he plays year 1 or year 2 long-term is the most important for a bottom 3 team in the league.

BallinmvpParticipantI don’t think they do, they have a chance to get two really good players. At 3 they can get exum, vonleh, randle or whoever they want and at 10 they can get a really good player too.

PicknPopPaulieParticipantThey put their collective basketball minds together in Philly and choose 2 top 10 prospects for themselves and live with the outcome.

bkb77ParticipantNext year will be another learning year but it won’t be a full on tank like this year.
you have MCW,Wiggins,Noel you have a nice nucleus to build with and they will learn how to win together like how OKC did in the early years, but if you take a guy who has serious red flags injury wise is still very raw and we don’t even know if he and Noel could co exist. It’s too much to risk over a pick at 10 which really won’t be that great of a player. What are we talking Dario Saric,Nik Stauskas, Doug McDermott. Those guys aren’t worth risking missing out on a potential Star in Wiggins or Jabari.

SpartanGloryParticipantThe Sixers are so bad that all they can do is accumulate young assets. I’m not so sure that giving two pieces for one is the best option, since we’ll have a lottery pick in what looks to be a good top heavy draft again next year. If there’s one thing the sixers’ front office shouldn’t do right now it’s panick.

xJumpManxParticipantNow with Embiids injury the Cavs will not want to move down. You better be calling the bucks to see fi they are interested. Parker or Wiggins will be the Cavs pick leaving the other for #2.

druneave3ParticipantCompletely agree. @markschanowski tweeted- 76er’s desperately want Wiggins and might be willing to trade 3 10 and Thad for the top pick.
That is probably just his opinion but knows the NBA pretty well.
That is crazy to give up that much but it is a league of stars and if you love Wiggins that much, pull the trigger. MCW, Wiggins, and Noel surrounded by shooters and the right role players would make a nice defensive minded team with gobs of potential. Could also, most likely, have a top pick in next years draft which is also considered extremely loaded and deep.

I think we should trade the 3 and 10 to get the guy we want (wiggins). We gave five second rounders and I believe two of those picks will net us a another first rounder and honestly with how deep this draft is their really isn’t a drop off in talent from 10-20 IMO maybe we can next a pj hariston with the 19 or 20 pick

raymondlyfParticipantLike what eariler post mention, 3 and 10 might be inevitable to land Wiggins now.
