2nd mock draft (with team needs taken into account)

As I was working on my 2nd mock draft since the season starts, I've noticed this draft lacks depth or talent at the PG and PF spot, which may cause the GMs to have to think twice before making their pick.

Its not a great draft but I'm

Its not a great draft but I'm still interested in potential pick ups.

Bol Bol reaching his potential in New York with KP would be terrifying to be quite honest.

I think Zion would fit best in a team playing 5 out where you have very switchy players at the 2, 3 and 4. I'd love to see him in Milwaukee, unfortunate they won't get a chance at him.

Phoenix will just end up in the lottery again, even after this trip. They need a PG that can show some leadership and defend, so while you may laugh at the suggestion of John Wall and his massive contract bringing his attitude and history of banging teammates wives to Phoenix, I think trading for him while his value is low is worth the gamble. Keep Booker Bridges and Ayton and try hang onto their pick with everyone else on the table for a suitable package to land Wall.

I like Rui Hachimura too and he seems like a San Antonio guy to me. I think he'd be a better roster fit in Utah or Miami as a 4, interested in how high he goes. /p>

Simi Shittu

"A taller, albeit less athletic, version of Jordan Bell, Shittu is having a nice freshman season despite the injury of his starting PG Garland. His versatility can be hindered by the fact that Shittu is a non factor as a shooter as he shot 0/9 from outside this season."

Plays nothing like Jordan Bell. Hes more like a bigger, more athletic Pascal Siakam but less skilled shooter at this point and less shooting potential it seems. He can dribble like a pointgaurd and has all kinda of finesse euro steps and finishing abillity with elite athletisism. The way he moves at his size is what is so intriguing. The guys gonna be a top 20 pick.

Simi can definitely improve as a shooter

Pascal only made three three pointers during his two year college career.

Yeah I think so too but Simi

Yeah I think so too but Simi has been playing basketball his whole life and Siakam started playing when he was like 17 or 18. In college during his last 2 years he took alot of long two's as well.

Hawks

For the scheme we're building, and obvious holes, we need a 5 and a 3.

I like Bol, but the non believers are starting to convince me. Do you all think he can become a defensive anchor for a team? Does he have the body to add on weight and/or strength? Offensively, he would work even if he doesn't improve on that side of the ball, but we need a defensive anchor.

At the 3, we need a 3&D wing. Huerter is underrated defensively, but ideally we'll add another wing defender who can defend the opposing team's best offensive wing, whether it be a sg or sf (speaking about the prototypical positions, as some teams the 2 and 3 are interchangeable).

My question to everyone, does Little have the potential to develop a consistent 3 pointer to become a 3 and D? Does Reddish have the potential to become a lockdown defender? A player I do like, is D'Andre Hunter. He is a great defender with size, capable of guarding out to the perimeter and down low. He does, however, also bring great outside shooting which fits our scheme. I think I'd love to add him with the Mav's pick and should be there if it's a late lottery pick coming from them.

All in all, I think you nailed the positions of need for the Hawks, I just question if we'll take Little over Hunter.
